regarding HSBC balance transfer, if I took 12k 0% 1 year balance transfer, and let say within the year I swipe 500 for retail, when I pay 2k on due date, the 2k will deduct the outstanding of the 12k BT only but not the 500? which means the 500 remain outstanding until I fully paid the 12k BT and I will be charged for financial interest for the 500?

does its CIP hv the same problem as BT?

Just received my Platinum card yesterday. So if I swiped at least once per month, for consecutive 12 months the annual fee will be automatically waived? Or need to call?

It will be waived. I was told that too. Cause I own a Amanah and Visa Platinum card

I'll only list out the highest cash back in percentage (to be redeemed in the form of shopping voucher).
- HSBC Premier MasterCard
0.375% (RM105 Uber codes)

- HSBC VISA Signature
0.35% (RM105 Uber codes)

- HSBC VISA Platinum
0.244% (RM105 Uber codes)

- all other rewards point-based HSBC credit cards
0.232%

Do note that the rewards points given to spending at certain places such as Mid-Valley is higher for certain types of HSBC credit cards.

Thank you so much for you info, is there anywhere I can check the details myself? On their website or something?
I'm checking if it's worth to get visa signature

Finally got the chance to review the revised T&C for visa signature

No more 8 times points in midvalley. No more 5 times points for local hotel spent. Now 8 times points is for foreign currency spend

And with the revised rewards catalogue, the shopping voucher minimum RM100 and all same rate at 43,000. Previously it's cheaper to convert certain merchants and can convert lower denomination

I have one "Cashback Credit" and one "Cash Back Everyday" from HSBC Amanah Mpower usage. Anyone knows how they are calculated based on the 0.2%, 2% and 8% cashback rates?

just realise the redemption points for vouchers went up after Visa Signature was announced. Used to be 20,000 points for RM50 voucher, now it's 43,000 for RM100. Should have redeem my 100k points earlier sad.gif
