Hi HSBC users. HSBC Amanah got no AF right? I am planning to apply it and spend to get the Lazada Voucher actually. Any sifu can share some insight tips regarding this? Read the T&C edi, they never mentioned on the restrict category to spend on.

Many thanks!

For the MPower cards, AF is waived with 12x swipes a year.

I've a HSBC Amanah Platinum card. The principal card holder is seldom using it, but the supplementary card holder is using it often (def more than 12 swipes pa).

Is the annual fee still waivered (for both principal & supp)? Or both cards must have 12 swipes? TQ.

Want to check, recently went to hsbc booth, they are offering 0% cash installment plan rm12000. I forgot to ask about duration.

Would like to know does their cip and their bt has same calculation method, ie, I should not use for retail transactions else it will attract interest?

12k is quite attractive.

Eh I got a question for the HSBC credit card application promo.

Currently there's 2 promo that goes with HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum. One of the promotion gives free RM500 Lazada when you spend more than 1000 and one more promotion is that they gives u Oppo A37 when you spend up to 1000 in a single receipt.

So let's say if I books a hotel that's more than 1000 in a single transaction, does it mean I am qualified for both?

you might want to check the T&C, does it state that you are entitle to one promotional win only?
knowing banks who calculates more than 2 decimals, it would be wishful thinking to think that you will win both prizes with 1 transaction.

Yea I did go through the TnC before asking here, maybe I missed out the minute detail but I don't really see it hmm.gif

Let me go through the TnC again but meanwhile if anyone has an answer for this, feel free to let me know.

EDIT: Saw it already. My bad. But can I choose which signup promotion to participate? hmm.gif

i spoke to HSBC credit card staff at the bank and was told the promo is only valid if u apply online. this lazada promo goes through the HSBC call centre (i think).
i apply online on the 25th of July but 8th of Aug only it appeared in their HSBC system, 21st Aug they send me an email saying it has been approved and expect the card to arrive in 10 days

I applied through "GoBear HSBC Exclusive Giveaway 2017" promotion (13 July - 31 July 2017) with a chance to win a PS4 (every 8th approved participant), travel luggage and receive Lazada e-voucher worth RM500.

My application was approved on 27 July 2017.

I'm wondering whether anyone else applied through this promotion and whether this GoBear HSBC promotion is real or just some gimmicks.

There is currently a similar GoBear HSBC promotion but now the chance to win PS4 changed to "every 31st approved new HSBC cardholder".
