You should call to check ASAP.  For me, the telesales officer DIDN'T mention the BT offer. However, I called up the next day to enquire about the BT offer, and the customer service officer told me that the BT acquisition offer needs to be submitted together with CC application.  Therefore they had to withdraw my CC application and resubmit a new one together with the BT.  If I hadn't called before submission I think I would not be eligible for the BT once they had issued the card.

For new card promo bt have to apply together with card application.
My case, the card promoter did not mention to me on the BT program so I missed it.
However I call up the CS and they offer me a new program instead, 0% BT for 6 months, with different terms (can get up to 60% without cap) which i duly took.
So, call their CS Who may have new deals.

Usually how long will the credit card application take? I applied HSBC amanah card on 25 July, got a call on the same day that they received everything and will send it for processing. Til now no news. Please kindly advise. Thanks

Did they call you again to verify your number? Did they say they will send card by normal mail or courier?

Giant under groceries for HSBC mpower? Why I get only 0.2% CB

2 or 8 % CB Coverage,
Petrol – Shell, Caltex and Petronas.
Groceries – Giant, Tesco, AEON Big and Mydin.

They will only Credit back the 2 / 8% (Groceries, Petrol) CB to Your account about 2 Months later...    
So that, U can get 0.2 + ( 2 or 8 %) CB

Hi all, HSBC is never in my preferred list due to its weird way for Balance Transfer. However, I saw there's a 0% cash advance thingy? Is it for new cardholders? If yes, I will drop by HSBC booth in MV though I pass by there every weekday but never get approached by them.

hsbc will SMS you when the card is on the way to u - courierd

better call hsbc to get the tracking number once u rcv the SMS

Shouldn't be any problem to call for waiver if you had fulfilled yet they still charge you

Sorry, I have no idea for this.
For HSBC VS, it is clearly stated in their T&C:
"Annual fee will be waived if the Cardholder(s) swipe the HSBC Credit Card at least once a month for a period of 12 consecutive months."

But from HSBC website:
HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum Credit Card-i
"Annual fee waived with 12 consecutive swipes per year"

Also, I can't find the exact T&C for Amanah MPower from their website.
Hence, I suggest you to call CS for waiver.
