Got my HSBC Amanah MPower approved at the 2nd attempt after failed application in Dec 2016.

I received the card via PosLaju. But PosLaju didn't actually deliver but instead put into the mailbox. The envelope was marked "MAIL DROP" in red.

I applied through "GoBear HSBC Exclusive Giveaway 2017" promotion (13 July - 31 July 2017) with a chance to win a PS4 (every 8th approved participant), travel luggage and receive Lazada e-voucher worth RM500.

My application was approved on 27 July 2017.

I'm wondering whether anyone else applied through this promotion and whether this GoBear HSBC promotion is real or just some gimmicks.

There is currently a similar GoBear HSBC promotion but now the chance to win PS4 changed to "every 31st approved new HSBC cardholder".

Received my 1st Amanah MPower statement dated 19 Aug 2017. Then on 28 Aug 2017 got Cashback Credit of RM3.46.

But I'm unable to tally the cash rebate rate of 0.2% (miscellaneous) and 2% (specific Grocery+Petrol).

I just managed to spend above RM2k for Aug 2017, assuming the eventual cashback rate for specific Grocery+Petrol will be 8% which will be credited later.

I have one "Cashback Credit" and one "Cash Back Everyday" from HSBC Amanah Mpower usage. Anyone knows how they are calculated based on the 0.2%, 2% and 8% cashback rates?

Wonder what happened to the balance 9 sets of Sony PS4 and 86 Voyage ABS Luggage?

My HSBC Amanah MPower Platinum Credit Card is up for renewal in August.

I have diligently swipe at least one transaction every month or more accurately 14 transactions in 10 months.

Not sure whether the "Annual fee waived with 12 consecutive swipes per year" still applicable to waive the RM240.

But the RM25 Service Tax sure can't run away.
