I have one CC application with HSBC as I was approached by someone in a mall in Klang Valley. I don't usually apply CC but since this is her first business, so I put in my effort.

I applied since 14 June ago. I contacted HSBC (long waiting time) yesterday and they did not receive any application. The CS Officer promised me to contact me back today to follow up on that matter.

Did HSBC's processing so slow? If yes, I just wanted to cancel the card by then.

Is there any requirement that one cannot hold more than credit card from 5 issuer banks?

If your annual income is less than RM36k, you are allow to be hold two different banks of credit cards

Otherwise, you can hold as many as possible, subject banks approval from time to time.

Did you applied via the kiosk in mall or online method?

it was a kiosk in a mall.

Oh , I remember calling in to check on the status during the 3rd week via IVR, but the system said no record found.

I think the card is processed in a branch not their HQ care centre. This is the reason I could think of. And I might be wrong.

The only way they'll contact is via e-mail for the approval after 2 weeks. No calls, just email. was approached by someone at kiosk in Bukit Indah.

Got my visa signature approved recently, like what most forumers's experience, approval was fast, efficient, received verification call and within 5 mins received approval SMS. However CL was miserably low for a visa signature card....probably i'm a new customer

anyone know how to download transaction details for HSBC account/ credit cards?

Got 2 options only.. I dont have any software that can open them:

QFX (Quicken 2004 for Windows/Quicken 2005 for MAC)

QIF (Common Interchange Format)

why not just make it simple and stick to PDF? zzz

nvm found it:
http://download.cnet.com/QIF-Viewer/3000-2...4-10889951.html

other month's statements are in PDF, my bad
