Can pay thru Maybank2u, use Interbank Transfer
If instant transfer, check the charges, if use IBG, check the schedule and the fee, usually 50 sen for instant, 10 sen for IBG

Depends, if your balance is from Balance Transfer, then it is difference, so if your balance is from usage, please clear it before due date if not there will be interest

Please do not use your card after balance transfer to avoid uncessary daily interest of retail transaction

not sure if this Cash Installment behaves similar to Balance Transfer.

if it does, any expenses incurred during the 15 months period, if not paid 'within the day' (yes, i really meant within the day, GIRO won't work cause it usually reached following day) will incur daily interest. No joke.

But not sure about this CI T&C. Please make sure you are clear on this to avoid shocks at your first statement.

thanks for the advice laymank. when I was applying through HSBC website, 1 of the pages required applicant to input the bank name & acc. no. for the RM10k to be deposited into. so I assume that if my application is successful, the RM10k cash will be deposited, & I'll have RM666.67 on my monthly statement for the next 15 months.

js wonder how long will HSBC take to approve/reject an application smile.gif

the Cash Installment depends on the card approval.

my previous card approval took 3 weeks.
