yup, they probably spend more money in promoting this "campaign" rather than spending on the campaign itself.  bangwall.gif  doh.gif  rclxub.gif

I noticed HSBC and Citibank always has lots of term and conditions. I always don't specifically participate any campaign for these 2 banks. Has been victim for many times.

Whoever using Visa Signature and plan to redeem 3000 points = 1000 miles, note that you have to redeem points earned within that quarter.

So points earned in February has to be redeemed within Jan-Mar period, if you want that 3000-1000 conversion rate.

I didnt know this and stupidly accummulated points for 1.5 years only to find I cant convert it to Enrich miles using the Visa Signature rate. Big big waste, sigh..

Wtf is this kind of t&c. Where did u see this term cos i didnt see any special t&c for this. I just signed up for this card ytd as the agent was promoting this feature. If have to convert every quarter then my as well i keep my transaction on m2p.

Stupid betul hsbc punya card. So many t&c on the points earning. Expect consumer to keep track on maximum spend..

Guess I'll just use it to get the rm400 cashback (bal transfer rm3k from m2p) for the 1st month, use the airport lounge only.

I dont see it stated on the website; maybe it's buried in the T&C document which is why I was pissed off. Had about 150k points - could have been 50k miles, instead only got about 15k.

You can see this when you click on the "rewards redemption button" in your online account. There you will see how many points are "eligible" for the 3000pts-1000 miles conversion rate. "Eligible" as in still within that quarter.

Applied HSBC 2 weeks ago.

No one called to verify anything, although in the past experience, bank will call just to make sure the contact number is valid.

I called to check on the status via their IVR, it says 'No record found'.
An hour later, received an email saying my card has been approved and will be delivered in 10 days.

Huh?? Just how reliable is their IVR, judge it yourself.

Abit confused with that Annual Fee amount stated RM254.40. waived subject to 12 swipes.

How about first year Annual fee, i mean for new applicant?
Annual fee wiil be charged and then after 12 swipes get credited back?
