I am using their VS since 2011, until now no AF charged into my account except year 2012, their charged and send me sms mentioned auto waive and no more sms after that.

I think they are changing thier AF policy now, I need to check my statement once my card renewal date is coming.

Correct me if I'm wrong, actually if you have swiped 12 times in a year then you can call CS for waiver, should be quite easy.

But since that you mentioned you rarely use this card, then you might as well cancel it. For me this card has no advantage already anyway except for some promotion, like at Mid Valley now a lot of HSBC promotion.

Yea agreeable, as i only use it for some of the promotion or benefit(ie:GSC weekend purchase). I may opt to cancel it if the CS doesnt waive my AF. Will keep you guys posted on the outcome.

Just called the CS, the are able to waive on the AF, given so you have to pay the full amount first and they will subsequently credit back the AF paid at the next statement.

Given the hassle that i have to pay something that i have not incurred and only getting back the next month, and also subject to my card usage, it will take a while for me to redeem the full amount from HSBC.

Therefore, i have request to terminate the card, and the cancellation dept have yet to call me to proceed the cancellation. Overall, HSBC CS service is a "No, No".

Yea waited for almost 10-15 minutes until someone in HSBC CS picked up. Isnt my first time calling in, same case last year as well, gone through alot of hassle.

Their CS is the worst I have encountered so far. I'm so glad that I don't own any of their cards anymore.

i received the card end of November 2015, till today still thinking to cancel it. signed up earlier as the guy told me for buying online movie ticket with 1 ticket free. Eventually, until today, never thought of buying online. lol ~ rebate wise, not that useful, as i spent less than RM 2k for both petrol and grocery monthly. lol ~

Based on my past experience, u can call to ask for waiver 1 month b4 ur anniversary

Just select 2 tickets and/ or 2 combo..when check out with hsbc credit card..it will show the price after discount..

Applied online and was asked to submit extra supporting documents.

HSBC comes back and says they don't look right and I explain it to them.

Was then told to wait, called yesterday and was told application cancelled.

What should I do , apply in the branch or Mid Valley again ?

I am using the amanah m power platinum cc as well for past few years. I never being charged AF. I think if you spend on the card constantly, they won't charge AF on that.

any idea what they mean by 'they dont look right'?
