Dear all, my annual income is around 39K, currently holding Maybank 2 Card (Gold) & UOB One card. Never had bad credit record, and I'm planning to get the robot vacuum by applying via ringgitplus.

I'm looking at HSBC Amanah Mpower Visa asRinggitplus mentioned free annual fee for the first year.
Since that I already owned 2 cards, how high is my chance of successfully applying?

As long as you've submitted via the hsbcamanah website then you're good to go.

Ignore the emails. I've already received my card but yet I'm still receiving email every 2 or 3 days asking for my supporting documents.

Weird. I'd received confirmation call from their CS within 2 weeks after submitting my supporting docs at their hsbcamanah website. Then the card arrived within another week.

Haven't received my robot cleaner tho as ringgitplus informed they are out of stock.

Will I leave bad record if I cancel the card after I've activated for a few days without using it?

Really geram at their service.

Nah, you have the rights to cancel it anytime.

While I understand it is my right to cancel it, I'm worry that other banks will see me as a not serious card user and give me a hard time when applying new card. sweat.gif

I just got charged AF for my Feb Statement, any members here manage to get AF waive from HSBC CS? Or should i just cancel the card, since i rarely use the card, therefore benefit from HSBC are rather limited.
*
Correct me if I'm wrong, actually if you have swiped 12 times in a year then you can call CS for waiver, should be quite easy.

But since that you mentioned you rarely use this card, then you might as well cancel it. For me this card has no advantage already anyway except for some promotion, like at Mid Valley now a lot of HSBC promotion. thumbup.gif

Meaning if you take RM10K cip then only 6280 is 0% interest free is it?
*
QUOTE(fly126 @ Aug 11 2016, 10:04 AM)
Yup, only for 6780 Applicants
*
I think what he meant is only 6280 quota for this promotion. Not RM6780 of the RM10000 is interest free. sweat.gif

Guys, anyone of you participated in the "HSBC Amanah RM250 Cash Back Acquisition Promotion" ?

Spend RM1500 for RM250 CB, RM1000 for RM100 CB, RM500 for RM50 CB.

I just gotten my approved Amanah card, just want to confirm whether if reloading into BigPay consider as a transaction? Because I read through the T&C, no mention of quasi cash excluded.
