QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 9 2015, 12:57 AM) is it easier(like way easier) to get into job if applying in sg rather than in msia? Is it easier? In theory, yes. Being here you can attend interviews immediately when called, etc ... but 'how much easier' is hard to quantify. I know people (back when you could apply 1 year LTVP to look for job) who have taken over half a year to find a job even being here in SG. |

If you do, you may check with the custom officer whether you can use it to enter Singapore. Otherwise, just enter like normal using white card, don't need to specify anything, unless the officer ask you.was wondering what to fill in the white form when i pass the custom?cos i only have the pass which is not fully official since i hvnt done my medical checkup o.o" QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 9 2015, 10:19 AM) yeah i know the easier word is kinda vague here but what i meant was a better chance to get a job applying in sg than msia. is kinda hard to travel to sg everytime have an interview unless i can 100% score it It would be more convenient for both you and employer if you stay in SG and apply for job/ go for interview. |

But you have to consider the benefit-cost ratio. Are you expecting 2-3 interviews per day? Or 2-3 interviews per month? In the worst case scenario you get 0 for that month. Loaded enough for 1 month hotel stay in SG? |

QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 9 2015, 10:47 AM) You need to budget how long u can last by renting room in SG. Maybe you can opt to rent in JB and go in SG whenever you got interview. That way, the cost will be lesser.QUOTE(Blues89 @ Mar 9 2015, 10:58 AM) yea got d...okay ,ill just ask the officer on the spot ba... :/ But remember to pre-fill the white card also. hmm, i think i am ok with up to 2 months of rental in sg without job. any further than that will be depressing if there is no job within my requirement
