Hi all, just want to ask, how long did it take for your work pass to be approved? Assuming the company did it online? Thanks for your time

no matter how, physically there would be better as most of them might require face to face interview anyway

Guys, I'm currently working in Malaysia and have a tele interview with a company in Singapore for a job opportunity. Any tips for the interview? Is it different than a normal interview? First time landing an interview for a non local company and tele interview.

Lol just when I want to go SG you're planning to go back to KL? It's actually pretty hard for tax to move, just that due to some special circumstances (the company expanding to kl and me having exp in Malaysian gst) that I had a chance.

Thanks. if your PR is not approve yet, I am not so sure, My case is a bit special.... work for company A for 2 years + then apply PR. ICA sent letter to me saying its approved after 1 month (that was back in 2012), 1-2 days after i got the approval I got retrench from the company. I ask the company to help me fill the form so I can complete my formalities but they refuse.. Joined company B 2 weeks later. get company B to sign the letter for me, still can complete my formalities just need to update the particulars a bit but my previous approval is still valid

QUOTE(V-Zero @ Mar 10 2015, 12:22 AM) Not too sure about PM but don't be afraid to ask for 1:1 MYR:SGD pay. My SGD pay > MYR pay $ to $. Just ask, no harm. The headhunter got stunned for few secs upon knowing my expected. thanks!! Dropping cv seems kinda impossible as most positions are requesting for Singaporean or PR. Contacting agents will be easier?

For technical positions I guess your best bet would be go straight to the agencies that specialise in business/technology you're keen to work in.

So abt 30% less, but currency is 2.65x If ur at the borderline in terms of monthly savings.. might be quite a tough one
