QUOTE(almeizer @ Mar 9 2015, 10:45 AM) You got the IPA letter? If you do, you may check with the custom officer whether you can use it to enter Singapore. Otherwise, just enter like normal using white card, don't need to specify anything, unless the officer ask you. yea got d...okay ,ill just ask the officer on the spot ba... :/It would be more convenient for both you and employer if you stay in SG and apply for job/ go for interview. QUOTE(hihihehe @ Mar 9 2015, 10:47 AM) i get my job in sg just by phone calls lol |

QUOTE(almeizer @ Mar 9 2015, 12:11 PM) You need to budget how long u can last by renting room in SG. Maybe you can opt to rent in JB and go in SG whenever you got interview. That way, the cost will be lesser. yea ill just leave the leave date from sg blank i guess lolBut remember to pre-fill the white card also. In case IPA is not acceptable then you no need to re-queue. |

wanna ask if permanent position is that hard to get in SG
i thought can convert to permanent after few months of contract, but seeing my other colleagues only get contract renewal..it bugs me. the benefits of contract and perm differs alot in company x.x |

QUOTE(Jurlique @ Sep 2 2015, 11:32 AM) Better don't change jobs frequently if you are work permit holder unless you are employment pass holder. What's more you are in the midst of waiting for permit approval. But i heard even EP holder have limit to job changes number. Cos I am looking out for new job as well :/You will risk your credentials on your future renewal and future PR application. |
