I applied for the Maybank 2 Card Platinum on Sunday night (28/9) at One Utama Maybank Card Center. Was called to collect my cards on Monday night (29/9) but I only collected them on 30/9, Tuesday noon (quite impressed but RHB took only less than 20mins to issue me my card at Paradigm Mall).

After collecting my cards, I immediately applied for the BT. I decided to try 60% of my credit limit given. Sought for clarification and was told that indeed there is no other charges/fee for the BT 0% 12 months promo. Was also told that the BT application may take up to 5 working days...so let's wait and see. tongue.gif

Hi, i need some help here.
is any1 have experience did BT balance transfer more than the out standing amount of the credit card?
for example
i owe hlb 20000. i apply CIMB BT 40000.
and now i have credit of -20000 in hong leong credit card.
is it possible for me to get back the over pay amount from hlb?

4 BTs declined no reason informed. My Bt had used up more than 100% CL long ago. playing on overpayment since.
I submitted another BT on 30.9.14 RM3684 (Mbf +RHB), received call verification on 1.10.14, no SMS approval yet.
Yesterday submitted another RM2700 (Wise and PBB), today received call verification but again no sms approval received.

But when i checked Aeon website available CR was RM11461 now become RM5077, i presumed my BTs all approved oredi.
Somehow no sms sent out to inform BT approved now??

You would never find out why some BTs are declined becos the next one you apply can be approved! and no need cool off period.

Taking RM40k from CIMB BT?! How much fee and interest you would have to fork out....? Why not go for PBB or MBB or Aeon ?

Good to know your AEON BT is approved now. smile.gif
I noticed the AEON BT approval sms is not consistent. There was once I did not received sms but was approved.
I normally just monitor online on the total outstanding and unbilled transaction. Normally within 2-3 days it will appear online.
I guess beyond 3 days then call to confirm if it was rejected then to execute plan B. tongue.gif

29/09 BT application submit to MBB thru faxed. MBB did not call me at all for verification
02/10 MBB transfer the amount to my UOB CC account. No SMS was send
02/10 3% one time charges charged in MBB CC account
02/10 waiver of 3% up front fees

The fund transfer, 3% one time charges was charged and waived on the same day.
