Hi all, I just have my UNIFI installed at my home yesterday.

I have seen people suggest to change the TM router ( TM give me RG-DLINK-WBR2300) to a better router, just want to know how bad is the router given?

Without much knowledge in networking, I found MikroTik RB951Ui-2HnD have good review .

Is it recommend to change?

You must have a good reason to change.

Does it not perform according to your expectations?

Give it a few days to prove itself first before taking the plunge.

In my case a month ago, TM supplied me with an Innatech RG4332 which cannot port forward 25565 my Minecraft server.

The DDNS functionality was also not working properly.

So I changed it to an ASUS RT-N12 D1, which has served me very well.

Took them long enough to reroute the lines.

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some help from other Unifi users. There is a game I play called Star Wars - The Old Republic. But lately I have had trouble connecting to the game (Its based in the US).

I have read about the Submarine lines having issues, but I would appreciate it if I can confirm the issue I am having is not isolated to me. (If it's just me, then it might be an issue with my settings) If you have the time, could you run a tracert to this IP (cmd -> and type tracert 159.153.68.252)

When I run it, it seems to time out after 2 entries.

On and off again, not the first time I encountered this issue. Just on and off the router, reboot the computer can do the job.

Or set manually the DNS server.
