QUOTE(echobrainproject @ Aug 3 2014, 05:56 AM) however for contractors its normal for 5:1. In fact some do give 7:1 and but the longer you stay you do get more (example: 3 weeks on, 3+1 days.) I see, thanks for sharing your info then.

EnQuest & Salamender is actively recruiting for peoples at the moment. New PSC player in Malaysia. NES Global is amongst the active headhunter engaged by them.
I happen to know that Keppel Singapore is branch-out their fabrication yard to Penang. Any new project at Keppel Penang?

QUOTE(kslee79 @ Aug 3 2014, 12:11 PM) If can, ask for equal time off. Most international rotators get that. If you're working in your own home country (I assumed Malaysia), then cannot laa since not deem as rotating but on-call basis. 5:1 ratio is harsh as most guys in Mid-East on 6:4 (6 weeks on, 4 weeks off). QUOTE(echobrainproject @ Aug 3 2014, 12:56 PM) however for contractors its normal for 5:1. In fact some do give 7:1 and but the longer you stay you do get more (example: 3 weeks on, 3+1 days.) Yea I'm on construction contractor side. Per day allowance isnt that great too. Competitors who gives better allowance will be offset with higher ratio (like EMAS is 6:1 if not mistaken). Quite jelly the client side package. Anyway my contract has 30 days annual leave, not much can complain though

There is only two which IADC and IWCF for drilling and well intervention with two levels driller & supervisor. Most people did their IWCF certification in PTTCO. There is also another provider which is Falcon. But i do recommend PTTCO

I took my IWCF cert from both providers. This post has been edited by meonkutu11: Aug 4 2014, 10:33 AM

Hi All,
I just received a phone call from a recruitement agent. They are searching for a project engineer for their client, Maple Icon. The agent told me that's it's an oil & gas company.
Any idea what kind of business they run?
Pls advise. Thanks for your help

Any taikos here working in MMHE?
would like to ask experience for working in there...
I got an offer as the epsilon trainee. i understand that mmhe is more towards fabrication works but i prefer a field operation type of jobs.
I would like to know that is that possible to move to field jobs after completing the training??
It is a great chances for me to gain experience as im a fresh grad but if i sign the contract I will be working in mmhe for at least 4yrs.
