actually i tried this before..my ram is DDR667 using biostar Tforce 570U..the thing is my divider is max till DDR667..
I've set the maxclock to DDR800 but nothing happen.. its take DDR667 as the max speed.. Dunno whether this is a bios problem or its just the mobo set the max according to my ram spec(FYI i can set my ram to lower divider DDR533) .. rclxub.gif

bios update perhaps?

well it the same, just lower the CPU multiplier.
start from ddr2-667, just push the HTT way up with max vdimm.

Bro.. its AMD.. the ram clock is depend on the divider itself..
for example:

250FSBx10 = 2500Mhz - RAM = CPU/6 - 416Mhz(DDR832)
270FSBx9 = 2430Mhz - RAM = CPU/6 - 405Mhz(DDR810)
250FSBx10 =2500Mhz - RAM = CPU/5 - 500Mhz(DDR1000)

so wat i need to get my ram running DDR1000 is either my proc can reach 3000Mhz( which is nearly impossible sweat.gif ) or get the CPU/5 divider (which is i dunno how to get it icon_question.gif ).. hmm.gif

anyone with DDR667 with Biostar Tforce 570U can change the divider to CPU/5??? and yet still couldn't find any update for my bios.. doh.gif

The divider cannot be changed. It have to depends on ur multiplier and ur ram divider.

Refer to the first page diagram, for multiplier 10, u need 800 ram divider with 250 FSB to achieve 1000. smile.gif

u cannot change the divider.. the best u can do with ur ram.. just tight the timing..

or u mean.. cannot set 800 divider when doing 250fsb?
maybe something wrong with the bios or the board itself limit it..

My mobo does not allow me to use DDR2-800 divider as well... kinda weird.

I have no problem using DDR2-800 divider on my previous UltraII-M2, with the same RAM.

guys..
try to raise the vdimm... and use 2T CR first.. loose the timing a little bit..
sometimes dual channel also give some prob...
is it becoz of nf570?

but i think 667 ddr reaching 1000 on 250fsb quite high..

i've tried 800 divider works fine on 200fsb.. but need more vdimm, maybe on 250fsb require more.. which i cannot try coz my board limit it..

thinking to grab nf590 instead..

@8tvt, prolly you did not understand what i mean

the board does not let me use DDR2-800 at all ... if i put DDR2-800, it will revert back to DDR2-667 but the timings remain the same.... as if DDR2-800 divider never existed.

it's not about ram not stable or whatsoever.... hey... i've been using AM2 long enuff tongue.gif

yup.. that's right.. its not the ram problem but the mobo itself do not let me use the 800 Divider cry.gif
My Kingston is DDR2 with Hynix chippy but dunno wat type..(lazy to open my case to take a look as my NT06 fully blocked my DDR slot sweat.gif )
that why i want to try how far my ram can go.. right now max till DDR940.. wink.gif

that's why i really think.. got something missing on nf570..
i just can't elaborate more.. coz mem controller on the cpu itself..
either bios or the mobo...

i read somewhere.. other brand that using nf570 give problem with 800 divider..
maybe here http://www.hexus.net/content/item.php?item=6150&page=5

Has anyone had any problems with the 2.2vDimm jumper on this board? For some reason it only locks it at 2.0v, not 2.2v like its supposed to. Really sad la, since most DDR2 can easilt survive up to 2.2-2.3v.

Btw, what should I google for when searching for the modded BIOS? So far I've only seen modded bios for the 754 and 939 versions, not AM2.

set the ram to higher than 400.let's start with 533 1st.For the timing just set to AUTO.After u get the highest speed for ram.then we'll play with the timing  cool2.gif

ddr533 without manual timing isn't gonna work...
