am2 3000+ orleans , asus m2n-e, haier 512MB 533 ddr2 <---wahahha im cheap, stock fan, 500w cheap psu
2.25@1.25v, 250 x 9 temp idle = 46c full load = 51c
The only problem is cannot restart windows. Else wont boot. But if shutdown 1st then power on back ok no problem. Can go higher but need to change PSU + ram i think.

Air zeon is consider cheap ka? One thing for sure using my current psu(colorsit or something the brand) if i up vcore past 1.3, psu will emit hotter air and sometimes smell in the air like something burn. What psu good for moderate OC in the range of rm150-rm200?

QUOTE(gmail @ Oct 2 2006, 12:10 PM) after reading this thread, found out that asus m2n-e not good in oc & buggy woh! how about this board DFI INFINITY NF SLI-M2/G? http://us.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_sp...NFINITY&SITE=UShavent saw any shop in lyp selling it also? regarding the board DFI INFINITY NF ULTRAII-M2, since it also has 2 x pcie16 socket can it be modded 2 support sli like the old lanparty ultra-d? will be getting a 3800+ x2 n join u guys! Im using m2n-e its quite good for me. decent overclock at 2.4-2.5 @ 1.3v. All of that after 2 times flash the bios. From 0205 to 0304 to 0403. Only after that got no problem anymore. No warm boot problem nothing. But for Rm390 i think u can get better mobo. My decision making was clouded by the fanless heat pipe wahahaha. QUOTE(soulfly @ Oct 5 2006, 01:30 PM) it's not worth if you're just looking for fun
it's worth if you're doing video/audio encoding and heavy multitasking at the same time Then its ok because its laggy when i do multitasking. This post has been edited by duarnt: Oct 5 2006, 02:44 PM

QUOTE(soulfly @ Nov 21 2006, 02:40 PM) The old one (LBBVF 0620 SPAW) sold to Seng007... it did around 2.8ghz at 1.575V prime stable... but that was on stock cooling. Currently using 3200+ (NBBVF 0630 EAB) China-made processor. SuperPi 32M - 2714MHz @ 1.375V (stock cooling) Still waiting for my CM HyperTX from moderno (still no stock) p/s: CPU-Z shows overvolting on the cpu... dunno why. After u got new cooler sure can go higher than that. Im still low on cash to buy better PSU plus m2ne vdimm highest can go 1.95v.

Anyone owned a Gigabyte GA-M55SLI-S4? Does that mobo performed well in O/C? Im thinking of buying that to play2 with SLI. Got tired already playing with M2N-E.

Refer in bios for correct vcore. CPUID give incorrect info about vcore on m2n-e. I think its around 1.30-1.35. Try tweaking ram setting.

QUOTE(davidletterboyz @ Jan 15 2007, 10:34 AM) All dual core CPU will use 50% load if u only run ONE superPi. In ur case, have u checked ur task manager? It has one or two CPU graphs appearing there? I have a friend who just upgraded to a dualy and didnt reinstall the window. It appeared that window cant detect the 2nd core. U need to repair or reinstall the window....or reinstall the ACPI driver. QUOTE(soulfly @ Jan 15 2007, 11:46 AM) i always thought that superpi is just a single threaded application, which means it loads up in just one core (which may explain 100% usage on one core)...but i could be wrong. Dang i found out that i have been using 1 core for the past 1+ month ha ha ha. No wonder i dont feel any diff. A windows reinstall fix the thing easier. I thought no need one. Superpi use 50% as u all said.

What the default vdimm for ddr2 800? I thing i want to upgrade from currennt ram coz my current ram max can go ddr 834 only. More than that it wont boot. vdimm already at max 1.95.Or should i get one of those dfi board and stick with current ram?
My plan is if the vdimm for ddr2 800 default at 1.8v, even with max 1.95, it can still go up max around 966 or more by OC it. Plus i can go for higher cpu speed.
