Visa and MC by default need OTP to approve payment but I came across one website that is YES 4G doesn't need OTP for payment by credit card.

Just to update you, I successfully paid my Maxis Bill today.

So how does it works?
On the Friday, you might need to call CS billing department (call 123 > press 2 > press 1 > wait them to connect you to their customer service) to let them know you want to pay your bill on Saturday using AMEX card to enjoy 5% cash back (to avoid them to ask you why not on that day itself ) and ask them to arrange call back from AMEX team on Saturday.

Two possibilities might occur:
1. If you are lucky enough to get experienced staff, they will arrange for you immediately.
2. Else, they will tell you AMEX team is not working during weekend. In fact, AMEX team works half day on Saturday.
So if they insist, you might need to call second time like I did

So today I received call from Maxis AMEX team and successfully paid my bill and enjoy 5% cashback from maybank amex

The MSOS is up to the merchant to implement. If the merchant system doesn't support it, then you won't be triggered for it.

no minimum spending. every amex transaction counts.

the smallest swipe i did were movie ticket @ RM12 and starbucks @ RM13.25

to fully obtain the RM50 cashback per month, total monthly spending is RM1,000.

any additional spending after RM1K (weekends) will not contribute to the cashback (capped at RM50), but you'll still get 5X TreatsPoints regardless (everyday).

if you guys have hlb wise then can use it much easier

if hlb wise doesnt have the minimum 10x RM50 retail transactions qualifier will be truly much easier

Too bead HLB wise don't approve my application after 2 attempt. Currently holding HLB other credit card... aii...

maybe they checked your transaction records in your other hlb cc and analyse how much you could further contribute if you have a second hlb cc. if just having half of your monthly expenses being transferred from one hlb to another hlb, that don't benefits them.

I am avid movie goer.... so HL GSC card is a must... buy 1 free 1 looo.
Anyway... stick back with Maybank2 card lo... don't be too greedy

I mean Under Section "For PAYPAL with MBB 2 AMEX to earn 5% cash back".
If Confirm AMEX Not able to use In MYR, may update to that section.

i didn't get that error it just says to use another card but i'll try again this weekend as I ask the merchant to manually issue the invoice to me using paypal
