Dear all sifu,

Last sunday I tried to pay MAXIS bill using AMEX but the m2u doesn't allow to do so. May I know how can I pay using Amex card to enjoy 5% cash back from Maybank without paying thru m2u?

Thanks all smile.gif

Do check Page 1, I paste below for your convenience this time  biggrin.gif
yup...normal number 123, please register ur card before calling them up...once u register, u can't see ur card details on the site, so there might be a bit confusion on whether u've sucessfully registered. but after register, just give them a call

Pay via Phone Payment
Settle your Maxis mobile and fixed line bills with a simple phone call. Just set up your account to Pay via Phone by filling in your details below then dial 123 ( everytime you want to make a payment )
Press 1 for access to your billing info
Press 1 to perform bill and payment transaction
Press 3 to make a payment
Note : Your may only choose to set up EITHER the Pay via Phone options OR the Direct Debit option. You cannot subscribe to both.

FYI...  this is not from me btw, I only cut and paste for your convenience. tongue.gif

You successfully registered? To check, you don't have to call in weekend, call during working hours on weekdays.
Once your CC registered in their phone payment, then on weekend, you can make the payment without involving the AMEX team.

I tried it before. Even u call on friday, maxis will only call back on monday if u want pay using AMEX. They told me they have separate department for AMEX and that department do not work on weekend. sad.gif

Just to update you, I successfully paid my Maxis Bill today.

So how does it works?
On the Friday, you might need to call CS billing department (call 123 > press 2 > press 1 > wait them to connect you to their customer service) to let them know you want to pay your bill on Saturday using AMEX card to enjoy 5% cash back (to avoid them to ask you why not on that day itself doh.gif ) and ask them to arrange call back from AMEX team on Saturday.

Two possibilities might occur:
1. If you are lucky enough to get experienced staff, they will arrange for you immediately.
2. Else, they will tell you AMEX team is not working during weekend. In fact, AMEX team works half day on Saturday.
So if they insist, you might need to call second time like I did rclxub.gif

So today I received call from Maxis AMEX team and successfully paid my bill and enjoy 5% cashback from maybank amex thumbup.gif
