Hmm..interested to know what you spend on for 35k/month? Is it personal/household monthly spending or do you use it to pay for all sorts of business/company expenses? sweat.gif

Yes, I am also very curious. RM35k x 12 = RM420k, he will be getting 440k FFP miles in one year drool.gif

Pros is you can hv 5x tp for local spending, it is a VI so more merchants options.

Cons is you need MYR$4M with Maybank
*
Yeah, $4M with Maybank is a bit much for a CC

I have the option of using my card to pay foreign invoices (DHL, FedEx UK mostly) so can put 50K per month through if I want to.

Problem is the exchange rates at the moment .. needs sufficient fluctuations to make it worthwhile so have abstained doing this for a while sweat.gif

The most high end card in most bank normally come with 2 path to apply, one is AUM with the bank, another is superb high spending individual.

As like diamanté card, you are right, private wealth customer with AUM 1mil USD will automatically get the card even he/she do not spend a single cent with any Maybank credit card before.

Another way is superb high spending individual, in this case, 600k annual spending is the criteria for this diamanté card even you do not qualify for the AUM part.

This is the same for the UOB RESERVE card, 2 mil SGD AUM or SGD 250k annual spending to qualify for the card.

Back to the diamanté card, status is not one of the benefit for this card as Maybank is not well known at most others country. The good point for this card is the 5X TP for local spending, and because this is a VISA card, is much wide acceptable than AMEX.

i have exceeded 600k spent for the past 12 months... let me try if they allow me to do so

I believe with this superb high annual spending, and you show your determination to get the card and even threaten them to stop using their card if they refuse to issue the diamante, escalate the issue to senior management, they will grand you the card. to them is just a simple plastic card, i believe they are willing to give you one to keep this 600k annual spending customer

actually its impossible to get 440k FFP by spending rm420k. coz not everywhere accept Amex. Visa only 2xTP local.

i just check my TP online.. to my surprise that my TP is over 1million within half year. Amex contribute 65% of total TP.
im wondering its wether im under estimated my spending habit, or maybank wrong calculation and give me extra TP as X'mas gift...

I use the advice of using M2U planner to track my spending to make sure I've spend over the 80k needed for annual fee waiver. Just started using early this month. I am having problem viewing past transaction too. It seems to only having transactions from 1 Dec even though I set the date range say June. Any idea what's wrong? Maybe it will only track from the day I activate the planner?
