QUOTE(dctravels @ Nov 4 2015, 06:25 AM) Yes. Been there, done that. Hi bro, How about the minimum spending limit to waive annual fee in the case where you holding both M2Premier and also standalone VI? Do I need to spend RM 80K to waive M2Premier annual fee and another RM xxK to waive the annual fee of standalone VI? Thanks

Hi, I recently got the M2premier and called up to ask for the Priority Pass. Received two courier package today, each with a Priority Pass, both different number. Similar welcome letter - complimentary PP with your Visa Infinite.
Has this happen to anyone before? Does it mean I get 10x entry or if I use either card to 5x I will get charged the 6th time onwards? Not very keen to call them....probably will use just one card till 5x then try once more the other card.

Initially thought maybe each card (visa/amex) get one priority pass each. However the accompanying letter for both say visa infinite. I'm not sure if lucky because it could be that both card linked to the same visa and I can still only use 5x total both cards. What I'm going to do is after using once, will call up priority pass to ask how many visits left in each card. I hope they know because I cannot see visits left in the priority pass account. This is unlike my citibank (aus) complimentary priority pass the account will should visits remaining.

QUOTE(corad @ Nov 7 2015, 11:50 AM) anyone with M2Premier have HSBC Premier card as well ? in terms of earned points/charges which is better ? I don't think there's any card that can beat m2premier in terms of earning enrich miles, especially the amex. In terms of charges, I presume you meant for overseas. From what I gather the charges are around 2.3%. Some say higher rates for amex but better exchange rate in europe/usa. I've only used in HK recently and found visa slightly better vs amex. Sorry I don't have hsbc premier card.

HSBC premier does give better redemption rate at 3,000 points per 1000 miles if u spend at the right place that earns 5x points, that means RM600 for 1000 miles. Some spending earns high than 5x. However, please note the cap per month. Read the promotion programme for more info. This post has been edited by BrandNewStart: Nov 7 2015, 07:41 PM

Tempted with HSBC Premier due to the worldwide banking, and they've revised to RM200k in account to be eligible with no spend/fee requirement ... if I recall correctly it used to be 800k ? Also was quoted FD 4.45% for 6 months But perks don't include all PPL (Only KLIA, Changi & HK) or permanent dining discount (MBB 50% at Shangri La KL) ... although haven't explored too deeply yet

if you guys prefer to pump RON 97 at Petron station, now you can earn enrich miles faster.
Every RM1 you can earn 1.5 Petron Point then every 1000 Petron Point can redeem 400 enrich miles
so, every RM 1.00 of RON97 petrol can get you 0.6 enrich miles.
so if you pump RM100 petrol with m2premier amex, you can get about 164 miles (mbb TP + Petron Point)
