better redeem before 13nov, you can get extra 10% enrich miles.

shouldnt keep too much TreatPoint in your acc, redeem when got promotion.

Guys, my flight from Beijing to KL will be 1am, so MAS counter at Beijing airport will only open 3 hours before flight (which mean 10pm). If i reach early, Any chance i can go thru the security check and enter a lounge to rest?.

Nope. You can't go airside unless you have a boarding pass and there aren't any lounges before security at Beijing airport, maybe they've opened some in the past year since I was there, best to check.

I got to the airport around 830pm, had to wait for more than an hour before I could check in, thankfully biz class check in was quick. Then off to the lounge, but only to be kicked out of the lounge a bit past midnight when they closed.

my previous trip was traveled in biz class too. because beijing traffic was bad, so i purposely booked taxi at 5pm, reached there 6pm.. then i spent 4 hours at mcd, starbucks until their counter open..

what is your opinion on the lounge (you been to the air china business lounge) ? i spent half hour there, then went to another lounge BGS Premier lounge, this lounge was much better

because beijing airport, malaysia airlines only fly once per day, so their counter only open 3 hours everyday (which is 3 hours before flight -- until flight took off)

anyone know what is VISA Airport Speedpass? anyone tried before?

I don't recall if I went to BGS but I certainly tried another lounge after Air China lounge was going to close. Air China lounge is meh. Bad food, ok seats.

If I were to buy ticket from Etihad / Emirates / Air Viet, would this card be better in terms of treatpoints to be converted to air miles or should I use MBB's VS to pay up for the tickets ( treatpoints to CB instead of air miles ) ?

Depends on how much you value your miles.

If you intend to utilize these miles for business class ticket I would say go for air miles.

But isn't that the purpose of you getting this card in the first place?

So, if you tell me it's more worth than getting CB directly, I'd rather get Business class seats next time I fly again.

How much is the CB worth? If just 1% or 2% then by all means go for air miles.
