with extra 33% extra miles when redeem Asia Miles , higher points are offset as well..
not to mention Cathay business class look better than MAS..
the bad are no direct flight to Europe and you need to transit in Hong Kong..
unless you redeem for British Airway..

Are they going to reopen the LA route again?

With the current inflated treat points conversion n inflated EM redemption, may be it is time to start compare Kris Flyer n Asia Miles with Enrich.
*
Finally this is happening. Few weeks back I was afraid that TP might be inflated and it happened for Maybank2kard few days ago. Wasn't expect the Enrich miles would do the same in near future sad.gif

I just hope that both the conversion from TP to KrisFlyer & KrisFlyer redemption itself won't inflate in near future. Else as @bearbear say, good old day are gone sad.gif

Start having thread to discuss about KrisFlyer & Asia Miles sounds like good idea though.

I don't think Krisflyer redemption will last much longer. I'm dumping my TP to Enrich for an award booking soon, then if Krisflyer redemption is devalued as well then I'm off my Maybank 2 Premiere cards and will stick to my US based credit cards again.

Bro,

Any good benefit and which bank?

Hi all sifu,

Is there any good deal for hotel stay in Kuala Lumpur or PJ using Maybank 2 Cards Premier?

For example CIMB VI Preferred do give 20% off best available internet rates for range of hotels including hotels under Accor Hotels group, Dorsett International etc.

Congratulation on the new privileges!!  rclxms.gif

1.) As per my understanding, Premier card do not get to enjoy the Valet services like Visa Signature does.

2.) This highly depends on people's perception as everyone has different preferences. What I can say is that the foods is very simple and taste normal or bland at times, the drinks are fine as they do prepare hot beverages such as teh tarik, milo and coffee as well as carbonated drink and can drink such as soy bean & chrysanthemum, and not to forget beer in certain PPL.

Considering it's complimentary and you need not fork out RM20-30 to enjoy simple food, why not?

And you get to have some space, shower amenities, free WiFi... etc

3.) No idea as I just hold the card since December 2014, however I do read some of the LYN members here said that Maybank do not waive the annual fee if the spending is less than 80k per annum.

4.) As for the Amex Entre benefits, you have to do a manual check accordingly with other sources as at times it may be slightly higher or lower.

Bro,

Is the Valet services only for Maybank Visa Signature? How about CIMB Visa Signature?

It's faster if you book restaurant by calling yourself unless it's oversea. I'd booked hotels and car in europe with the VI concierge. They will give quotations and might be able to give better rate or upgrade for you.
*
Thanks Bro for your sharing. Yes the one I'm trying to book is in London and their website shows that all the table already gone. I will try my luck with the concierge service.

Good luck bro. Sometimes VI concierge can work wonder. What's the restaurant name in london? Any recommendation?
*
Thanks bro. The one I tried to book is Savoy Grill, one of the restaurant owned by Gordon Ramsey. Thinking of trying out his signature dish Beef Wellington. Just for trying purpose though as I never been his restaurant. London has tons of nice place to eat and if you like Chinese food, I recommend you to try out the roast duck in Four Seasons. It is quite good.

I got it done via email concierge@visainfinite-asia.com

Took 1 week+ for them to upgrade my HHonors, just for fun anyway

Hi bro,

From Hilton website it stated that:

To achieve or retain HHonors Gold status, you need to earn either:
(1) 20 stays in a calendar year, or
(2) 40 nights in a calendar year, or
(3) 75,000 HHonors Base Points in a calendar year

That means that if I enrol into 'Invitation to complimentary Hilton HHonors Gold status for Visa Infinite cardholders', and in order for me to keep my gold status for next calendar year(starting 1/Jan/2016), I must either earn one of the three things stated above before 31/Dec/2015?

Hi bro,

How about the minimum spending limit to waive annual fee in the case where you holding both M2Premier and also standalone VI? Do I need to spend RM 80K to waive M2Premier annual fee and another RM xxK to waive the annual fee of standalone VI?

Thanks
