Considering that the Amex Platinum charge card that Maybank charges RM2,400 per year annual fee can't even rival the US$450 US based Amex Platinum in terms of benefits (free Boingo, free HHonors Gold, SPG Gold, Avis Preferred, Hertz Gold, free Priority Pass Select, free Centurion lounge, free...) I don't expect that there will be a Centurion card, and if it does come, there will be very little in terms of value

Same thing with the Diamante, it's not good value IMO which is what I was trying to imply.

However come to think of it the Maybank Premiere cards have excellent value in terms of airline miles redemption, so maybe there might be some hope after all.

did two transactions of usd on ebay, 2 minutes apart.

the rate i got:

VI - 4.46
Amex Reserve - 4.41

both posting and transaction date falls on the same day. I guess Amex is still gives the better rate despite being 2.5% charge versus 1%

If u have Amex and VI, VI will give u better rate

I notice that VI get better rate across Asia while AR is better for Europe/US, based on previous experience.

That consider normal because last week SGD to MYR highest is standing at 3.09

what do you guys think, worth to pay tax using credit card?

U can pay with any credit card, not limited to MBB only.

Do take note that government bodies only gain 2x treat points if pay via AR.

Use other cards which can gain more than 0.8% then it's worth.
