Finally received the package few days back. As expected, the device is fast and smooth. Excellent WiFi connection. The remote controller is quite ok though it does feel & look cheap (what do you expect for this kinda price).

Saw there is pre-order in gearbest for new Android TV Box running on new Amlogic S912... Both running Android 6.0 with 2GB ROM and 16GB ROM. 2.4G + 5G Dual Band WiFi...
The Nexbox A1 at US$85.72 (RM343+-)... The other is Beelink GT1 at US$79.19 (RM317+-) which is waiting for arrival notice... Considering either of this to upgrade from my Beelink MiniMXIII... Hopefully can get cheaper in sale...  |

Tempted to buy Mini M8S II from GB. Can we setup hypptv on it? How about it's performance compared to stock STB from unifi (Huawei EC6108V8) ? Any pros and cons that i should take notes?

Based on what i know, hypptv cant run on android box. the stock STB if have sufficient memory and processor power, it can run basic application. But what i understood, the stock STB always come with minimal memory. so it is always recommended to get a separate tv box. |
