Saw there is pre-order in gearbest for new Android TV Box running on new Amlogic S912... Both running Android 6.0 with 2GB ROM and 16GB ROM. 2.4G + 5G Dual Band WiFi...

The Nexbox A1 at US$85.72 (RM343+-)...

The other is Beelink GT1 at US$79.19 (RM317+-) which is waiting for arrival notice...

Considering either of this to upgrade from my Beelink MiniMXIII... Hopefully can get cheaper in sale...    

Finally received the package few days back. As expected, the device is fast and smooth. Excellent WiFi connection. The remote controller is quite ok though it does feel & look cheap (what do you expect for this kinda price).

However it came or installed with Kodi 16.0 which was having problem especially when u need to skip or fast forward, so I had to reinstall with Jarvis 16.1. once that done everything else just worked like a charm

I think the Beelink range does not have good wifi connection if its placed more than 20' away from router... Just like the MX range, i could be wrong

Beelink GT1's specs stated wireless AC and 1GB LAN...

Hello all

I have been using an MX tvbox for about 1 year+. Finally its going bonkers, wont connect to my wifi.
I am thinking of buying a low-range android tvbox to replace the old MX.
Can't decide which is a better buy, can anyone advice?
I think I want to try the xiaomi but it seem the android os is not so open and cannot install google playstore
I only use it for Kodi and youtube mostly

please keep us informed about this gt1, i am really interested if i should go for it. wanna know how the ac wifi performs, and if it has any issues handling all the different 4k videos (10bit, hevc, high-bit rate etc). i am considering this box (for its cheap price) vs a rtd1295 box (zidoo x9s or x8, or other boxes using this same soc).

Don't be so sure.. There's always that one fella who buys such, expecting HD Audio, only to be disappointed.. 

Wah..I was considering to buy the Beelink MiniMXIII after your review. But now..should I also aim for the Beelink GT1?   

However it cost another rm140 

MiniMXIII is good... Wife is happy can watch her HK and Taiwan series... My 2 year old is happy can watch Elmo on the 40" via Youtube     ... I've only watch some movies on Kodi, Iflix and Terrarium...

MiniMXIII is US$41.99 vs GT1 US55.99... US$14 difference...

Beelink box come configured with any apps ? What's apps incl ?

GT1 don't know yet...     But Kodi should be pre-installed like the miniMXIII that I have... Also Kodi Mate...
