I am looking to purchase rMBP, last I check it was updated on October 22, 2013. Well, I can only assume that an updated version like processor speed bump with less than major chassis re-design is coming this fall. Is this a safe bet? I can wait, I am in no hurry for one right now although the base model for 13" and 15" are the choices if I were to buy now.
1. Best advice for now is not to get the Macbook Air. Word is that the latest versions are coming with retina class withing 2-3 months.
2. Again, there is rumors of a major chassis redesign and a new trackpad design, but all points to the Macbook Air as the most likely to receive the upgrade.
3. Probably if the other models get updated, it will be in the form of speed bumps, such as from 2.4Ghz to 2.5Ghz. So if you need it now, you'd probably can buy the retina 13" and 15". Intel has also delayed Broadwell.
4. The non-retina 13" pro is about to be terminated. Still sporting an Ivy Bridge processor, the last mac ever with an optical drive. Don't buy this.

Any one has problems such as
1) Wifi is death often, however the wifi icon is still connected. I must switch off wifi and turned it on again manually from systray ? I am having this problem since Maverick.
2) problem with moving the macbook pro, sometime it will put the screen to standby ?
1. Mavericks bug probably if you haven't experienced it before. Someone took the time to list every fix possible for those issues. Check the steps here
