Easiest way to do that is day trip out to JB and come back in for a fresh 30 days. However after that you hit the 60/90 rule and you need to leave the country for 30 days before coming back in.

oh thanks for the info. my friend tried to renew 60 days after stayin there for 30days (cuz she has a brother in SG) but then it was rejected (& only gotten total 60days of stay) due to the fact that she did not leave sg for 90days in order to re-enter with social visit pass.

in such a case, what did you put in your 'Highest Education' column ? Is Professional Cert counted as education level ?

Have you heard of Illumina? Ticks both your boxes. Have a friend who works there. American company, pays extremely well and offers niche biotech experience. And if you like travelling to US, my friend is like 3-6 months a year for lab engineer / scientist.

Can't offer you a lubang since I don't know you, but they are always interested to hire as there's limited people in this industry. You can try their website.

Is it illegal for an individual with a social visit pass to stay at a friend's place who rent the room with a valid pass ? Initially, we rent the place together but currently I am in a job hunting mode.

Not illegal. You're not the one renting or having a residence in SG. Bunking at your friend's place is no different than staying at a relative's house.

As long as you're on a valid social pass, it's fine.
