QUOTE(crapp0 @ Dec 6 2013, 03:15 PM) Why only johor? Since my hometown is in malacca, it should be no issue since as you have mentioned that only johor jpj does this. Why would they want to cancel my driving license if all i request was information on a piece of paper. like i said, by law you are not allowed to hold MY and SG licenses together. In Johor JPJ they will assume the moment you request for the extract, that you are converting to SG license (cos of the hundreds of thousands of Malaysians living in Johor working in SG). In other states they give you the benefit of the doubt. |

QUOTE(fastreader @ Dec 6 2013, 04:01 PM) hey...sifu and gurus...need some advice As what sinner mentioned, you need to share more on your qualifications/experiences first - if you are a fresh grad, SGD3k is a decent/good deal. If you are experienced and already earning around RM4k+ in Malaysia, then I would rather look out a bit more first. FYI I just jumped job and I am still being mobbed with a lot of job offers... I think the market is quite good for IT BA/consultants so far.i got a job offer for SGD3000.... there is no CPF offered as I'm foreigner is this offer ok?..as in isit enough to survive in singapore as the accomodation alone will be SGD1000 dy... please help to advise me on it... background infor: I'm a malaysian currently working in malaysian and is planning to move there. This will include set up cost and all. *Surviving in SG on SGD3k is definitely do-able if that is what you wondering though. I started off at SGD3500 and I still managed to saved quite a bit during the time (stayed in HDB, one room to myself and I did not have to starve myself at all). |

Hello! According to this link: (thanks Noizy for the link)-http://www.mom.gov.sg/foreign-manpower/foreign-worker-levies/Pages/levies-quotas-for-hiring-foreign-workers.aspx
"employers are liable to pay monthly levies to hire employees who hold Work Permits or S Passes." What about E passes? if i have an Epass, my employer does not have to pay for anything? Thanks for your help! |
