I used to work and live in Singapore for almost two years. But, I was not happy to live there although you could earn satisfied salary. Personally, the highly population and competitive culture in Singapore did not suit me well. Unfortunately, they didn't resonate with my heart at all. Well, I guess it really depends on people's perspective or preference.

The taxi driver even say that I'm so weak....

I once kena a taxi that drives that way and i almost puked in his taxi. After i reached home and got my change, i told the driver, the way you drive really cannot make it. You are lucky the distance is short else i'm gonna puke in your taxi. Then slammed his door and walked off.

I didn't sound him throughout the journey cos i scared he say lu tak suka lu turun. tongue.gif

My gf has a terrible taxi driver that picked her up, halfway decided not to send her home, and decided to drop her at geylang.
Swear to god if I see that guy I'm going to take his picture and report him.

Some taxi drivers race!!!! 12 minutes from woodlands checkpoint to bukit batok central. And they like to press on the gas pedal, then brake abruptly. Continue this routine until you arrive at your destination. Guess this is why everyone feels like puking -car sick.

That's why I use http://www.carclub.com.sg/. Roughly $10 per hour and $0.30 per km, convenience of owning a car and driving yourself anywhere at prices just slightly more expensive than taking a taxi.

Guys, I went to get my driver license extract the other day at JPJ. but they told me I will need to write a formal letter for that and also my Malaysia license will be disabled after that.

I passed my theory test for the conversion but seems like I can't get the document for that conversion.

Please help. Previously I heard only JB JPJ will do that. But I was getting it in perak.

Oh, when I told that staff license extract they didn't understand. I had to tell her for license conversion in sg. In the end I didn't get the extract.

I remembered I spent around $1k for expenses including rental, internet, and utility. But, you may spend more than $1k if you live alone in rental apartment. So, I think it's better for you to share rental apartment with your friend(s) or family member(s).

What professionals do they currently need? Would an IT graduate in computer science have a good chance finding a job there?

Not quite what I would have instinctively concluded. But I guess it really depends who the survey respondents were:
