QUOTE(whatla @ Oct 31 2013, 05:39 PM) Hi, I recently just got a job offer from singapore but I have yet receive any offer letter.. However, I spoke to the HR on the phone saying I got the job and will will to apply EP for me.. But the question is 'Is it possible to apply EP without me signing any offer letter?' I am quite confused here.. EP is with the Ministry of Manpower(MOM) SG....even if you have signed on the offer letter...if your EP/SPass/Work pass is not granted from MOM..its still a NO GO....so your answer to your question is depends...even if the company offers u and u sign...there will be a term/clause to say that if MOM rejects your 'whatever' work permit/pass that offer letter is no longer valid... OR the other way to look at it is that the company will give you an offer letter once they have a greenlight from MOM to get u onboard their company.. QUOTE(jay2011 @ Nov 11 2013, 09:40 PM) Hey all, Is it easy to find a 4 rooms HDB in Singapore? I planning to rent a unit with my friends. But seems all 4 rooms HDB, the 4th room seems can't be even call a room. Is it common to have 5 rooms on a HDB 4 room HDB rental starts easily from SGD2.2k(Woodlands area) and can go up all the way to even SGD3k+++ depending on location. Utilities are not included in the rental pricing of course!!

In addition, which lane should I use when passing through immigration? Can I enter Singapore via the EP pass lane using the IPA? Apologies for barrage of questions! QUOTE(Fiona Chin @ Jan 2 2014, 01:38 PM) Banks take both the IC and Passport no. Passport also have IC. no. in the front page. Some lazy one will scan only the passport for record. The IC no. is to prevent your same name brother or sister come saying passport expired donkey years ago and his passport is the new one to claim your money. infact SG Banks here accepts Malaysia Blue IC to open up a savings account....
