QUOTE(evoHahn @ Oct 19 2007, 11:08 PM) Bro Evohahn.. how r u? Can't believe we own similar car make. Added on October 21, 2007, 3:06 pm QUOTE(Matrix @ Oct 10 2007, 11:12 PM) CHEAP PLAK. Agreed. Savvy's engine is a bit noisy at high revs. Anyway, most racing cars are like that. Added on October 10, 2007, 11:13 pm Thanks...ha..ha..and i was looking where to unscrew..LOL Added on October 18, 2007, 11:51 amYesterday rev my Savvy until 5k+ rpm...suddenly got "wheee" high pitch sound....scary ler...is it normal? So far, under normal driving circumstances, i've hit about 4krpm at 120km+ (can't remember exactly)... i think this car the rpm is a bit high when u go higher speed. People who hit 165km/h+....i wonder what's the rpm like?? 6k+?? This post has been edited by nizam80: Oct 21 2007, 03:06 PM |

QUOTE(lunacy @ Oct 23 2007, 08:15 PM) but i tried savvy , the seating seems small . and i am quite big in size ... i dont think that u will find a problem sitting in the savvy. im 178cm and i dont find any problem sitting and driving in it.36 k can also get viva 1.0 manual d right ? althought is smaller engine .. that is why so confuse . And u mention that u are big in size so savvy 1.2l engine should be better than viva 1l engine. That extra grunt will help u move faster and also when u carry a lot of passenger |

QUOTE(lunacy @ Oct 25 2007, 11:05 AM) how many years of warranty given by proton to savvy ? any savvy driver can update on their savvy warranty ? Savvy 2 years warranty. Pay extra RM2xx for another 3 years warranty. So 2+3= 5 years. Added on October 25, 2007, 4:08 pm QUOTE(lunacy @ Oct 25 2007, 12:54 AM) Few problems i heard from others for savvy Friend...dun buy Viva..serious...if u wanna buy P2, buy Myvi 1.3. Viva drives like a motorbike with 4 wheels due to it's 3 cylinder engine. This is an inherent 3-cyclinder engine characteristic. 1. Clutch is hard 2. Sterring hard also. 3. Power took of slow due to drive by wire for accelerate pedal. 4. Engine hard to start even is new one Above is true ? Any savvy driver can give comment on this ? 1. Cluth is hard....i think some older models are harder. The new FL are not so hard. I've tested the old model before and they're harder than the new FL model. Anyway, once u get use to it, no problem. 2. Steering is not hard...try VIVA 850/660...THAT IS HARD!!! It is different from typical electrical power steering...it uses hydraulic steering....furthermore, with the handling ability of the Savvy, fitting a loose steering like VIVA will be a mismatch. You'll feel a lot of control. 3. You press harder than faster lor...ha-ha..(eat more petrol!). Anyway it has pros and cons. The engine doesn't die so easily even if u change gear at low speed...and i believe the final torque will be better due to the bigger engine size (compared to VIVA). 4. Huh? Got such thing meh? No such thing ler!! btw, i suggest u buy Standard Savvy..only 37K+...Savvy lite apa pun tadak...unless u dun mind manual window and prefer to install ur own alarms, alloy rims, etc.... but remember, u might have warranty problem later if the 3rd party dun install properly and causes problem (Proton can blame 3rd party if problem arise).
