If Proton were to have this rear a standard design. It certainly puts it on a same footing againts the Myvi. Savvy front looks really good in my opinion. Only its rear destroys its image. Imagine Brad Pitt without his teeth.

Errr...... you should include Kenari and Kancil too. Savvy is definitely targetted at this bracket. Well, it's slightly a class behind MYVI but it's no slouch either, there are so plus points for having Savvy, I like its revvy engine. I drove my friend's Savvy for a short spin, I'll say, not bad for a car at this price, at least it's better than Satria Neo 1.3, it's worst than a kura-kura, even for the manual version, totally not responsive.

.. i think those bashers r simply bashing it juz becoz of that lion green n blue logo stick in front of it.. if it were 2 have say a perodua logo instead, i bet things would be juz fine..

actually planning to take neo 1.6M. but i want to wait for new sedan model.

What do you guys think about used savvys? A year old car would cost around 28k. Which is pretty attractive. Any specific problem or issue to check out?

nope, but tell you the funny part - it's the first time i ever saw a car and decided on the spot to get down from my car and admire it and snap some pics of it. LOL. of all cars, it's the car that i said it was ugly when it was launched. this car really made me go WOW.

btw it was snapped at bukit jalil, on my way to paintball park.

the irony of life - the car that i found ugly is the car that i found nice looking nowadays and already making arrangements to get it.

Chill la fellow brothers.....we arent going to move anywhere further la if we keep on doing this myvi savvy issue....aiyoyo....this happened since the day these 2 cars were launched....until now still argueing ........haiyoh,if a car can get us from point A to B mah ok liao lorrr...sum pple oso cant even affort a bicycle neh.....we should be thankful that we have a box with 4 tyres that can move   peace peace peace

actually, the colour of the Gen 2 is new too... silver i think... but i believe it is for export only at this moment...

it is not white... silver... and it actually look quite good... it's a shame they have not lauched it in local market yet...

hmm...mite be true oso.....hmmm.....da new face&butt-lift looks better but sumhow i think its the rear light that is making it looks a bit unpleasant(maybe its european taste IMO)...but i saw one tat day near my house painted white with Zerokit...fuah!!!! chunded   summore with smoked rims      cars can look much much better if we know how to 'sayang' tat fella....simply adding sum kits and bodyworks AND a set of nice 'shoe'  will make it looks like a superstar    i own a myvi and i am satisfied with it...but savvy is the car that once gave me many sleepless nitez (coz tat time cant decide 'vivi' or 'vyvy' ) Driven AMT once....a new and fun experience but sumhow carried away by the jerky trans...all round I can say tat its a very good car but proton needs to do a bit of homework on 'vyvy's' interior....hmmmm....maybe vivi and vyvy can get along well sumday instead of bashing each other   maybe start a new club instead ViVy Club

Do you think the savvy would be better with a 6th gear?

lol, it's all the gears are so flexible that i use 5th gear so frequently. It would so kick ass if there's a 6th gear option. I love playing with gears lol. It saves FC, and that's another reason why i love driving.

Oh, and another "sigh" is the internal build. It's so flimsy and cheap.

How often we could do this to new cars..standing on the bonnet.. and u dun have to release from a distance to close the bonnet, just push it ok no prob.
