I think the previous RHB Shell utilities cb is very nice, now that it's gone, is it other good card that give cb for utilities spend?

For rhb shell visa, if i topup 2.5k in ewallet before 28 i would still be getting the full rm50 cb for the next statement right?

yes , provided your total retail spend is 3k, cause the spending amount will follow the new limit.

i got a feeling rhb try to play cheat credit cb on 28/7, therefore even though new txn after 22/7 before 28/7 also no extra quota for the new statement cb

Use the RHB Shell card in trip.com consider online spending? Eligible for cashback provided I meet the 2.5k spending before 28th?

Received RHB Shell official cc statement for statement date 22-July-2025.
There is no cb.
Don't know what RHB is doing

but beware of this platform,
my RHB card was compromised with multiple unauthorized overseas fraud transactions in USD after use at this platform.

search online reveal quite a number of complaints on this too.

those thief do it below 1 min, when i receive multiple sms from RHB of those transaction, even i lock the card immediately using apps, it's still not on time, total amount already around RM8k++ eventually posted.

now disputing these unauthorized overseas transactions.

in my opinion, RHB also have part responsibility to play for not stopping those large amount overseas fraud transactions at all, but instead they just let those transactions go thru with a SMS informing us only.

Ya damn I also noticed when I pay for the hotel booking there's no validation or some sort. No app approval or SMS TAC Hopefully nothing happens in a month's time..I will cancel it end of Aug

yup thats's the scary part.
no TAC overseas transactions.

to be on the safe side.
can go their apps and lock the card whenever not in use.
before use, just go apps unlock the card and lock back after use.

i learnt my lesson with them.
really scary 2 weeks peroid since it involve large amount RM8k++,
luckily eventually after i emailed to their customer advocacy team, they helped me to solve the dispute problems.

now i lock my card whenever not in use.

Any revision to RHB VS card? Surprisingly i didn’t get any cb last month.

If you read through the last page or so, you'll come to realise that everyone is in the same boat as you do.

I fully paid back my rhb shell cc usage and only saw this forum that on 30th they will issue the cashback, what happens to my cashback since im deciding to cancel the card? Reimbursement ?

If follow example, total transaction posted B4 28/7 less than 2.5 still get 50cb

Balance to add up to 3k B4 closing statement also entitled?

No such thing as reimbursement. Once you terminate card, it ends there. Whatever cashback not given will void.

as the cb credited on statement date (or 30th for July due to issue), you should've cancelled the card after receiving cb.

there may be a slight possibility the cb may still be credited into the card since rhb may takes some time to process & cancel the card. in my case, they even called me back after few days to calling to cancel the Shell cards.
