Applied online and just received my RHB Shell Visa card.
There is something I don't understand, hope anyone can clarify how it works.

Terms stated cardholder can earn (up to 5%) cashback on spending in Utility.
Terms also stated spending in JomPay is NOT eligible for cashback.

But when I login to RHB online banking and click "Pay Bill", it seems the only way to pay for Utility bills is via JomPay!?

Then how to use RHB Shell Visa to pay for Utility and eligible for cashback?

I usually can see and download cc statement in RHB mobile apps around 3 working days after statement date. It is much more reliable than receiving statement via email.
Since it is a new card, you should probably call RHB customer service phone line to double check.

I think it should apply to other RHB CC

So PIN Entry / Contactless / Auto debit -> Utilities
Online -> Online instead of Utilities

Test it first, don't assume online payment to MyTNB will get Utilities CB.

I can confirm pay TNB bill via myTNB Android app using RHB Shell get cb currently.
Not auto-debit, but manually key-in cc details in myTNB app.

Anyway, I am going to ditch RHB Shell soon.
Just applied UOB One Platinum.

Yes, previously cb appeared on statement date.
This month (22 July 2025) cb have not shown up.
Wait and see.

Anyway, I will cancel RHB Shell as soon as cb is in cool2.gif

Received RHB Shell official cc statement for statement date 22-July-2025.
There is no cb.
Don't know what RHB is doing doh.gif

Just received notification in mobile app: (can't screenshot)

"Your eligible cashback will be reflected in your next statement. Thank you for your patience."

Looks like no cb on 30th July as shared on here. Have to wait till 22nd August (next statement date).

I think RHB really fck up their programming.
