rhb cashback CC, the normal one..

so does it mean if fall under "Spotify PXXXXXXX Stockholm SE" then no longer under utility category?

I wonder if we can ask rhb why there's discrepancy and whether they will reimburse cashback for those Spotify PXXXX transactions..

I just planned to get this card, and luckily i saw this, the new tnc seems vague on minimum spend per category, does it mean
-i have to achieve all categories minimum spend to be entitled for cash back? Or
-i have to achieve minimum spend for a category to be entitled for that category cash back
Maybe some existing user can share after their aug25 statement is out?

First, you will need to hit the min. spending tier to unlock the CB for each category.
Followed by the min. spend of the category respectively.

you can dispute, but the t&c stated:

3.11. The assignment of the MCC for a Partner Merchant is subject to the classification by the Partner
Merchant’s Acquiring Bank that is providing the credit card terminal. It is the responsibility of the
particular Acquiring Bank to assign the correct MCC. RHB Bank will not be held responsible for
any incorrect assignment of the MCC by any Partner Merchant’s Acquiring Bank that may result in
non-posting of the Cash Back for the retail transactions with the Partner Merchants unless such
incorrect assignment of the MCC and/or such non-posting of the Cash Back is/are due to the act,
omission, default, negligence and/or misconduct on the part of RHB Bank and/or any of its
employees, representatives and agents..

I don't have PBB, but I have Aeon Wallet and its credit card.
I just tried one merchant QR, but the wallet prompt was unsuccessful (Error Code W20192 - Duitnow is not supported)
Have you tried and succeeded before?

I tried that a few months ago, can. if i don't have memory leak, merchant QR was issued by RHB.

Just tried today n got the same error.

The one i tried d merchant using Maybank QR but RHB app doesnt allow cc.
Then i tried with MAE but only CASA allowed, no option to even choose cc unlike PBB & Aeon app.
Then i tried PBB app, allow to choose cc but upon payment it failed with DN status code U301. Amount debited then reversed as shown in history.

they sent out email for the revised tnc

How is it "enhanced"? It's a petrol branded card with an incredibly low cashback capping for petrol. Crazy!

RHB Shell VISA revision is a total disaster. Now to include oversea spending on a petrol card. Any alternatives?

Yes, previously cb appeared on statement date.
This month (22 July 2025) cb have not shown up.
Wait and see.

Anyway, I will cancel RHB Shell as soon as cb is in

Visa Signature also cashback not in. Pay-tience

This month RHb have many system issues. Even the RHB Smart Account interest was credited much later than promised

statement 22/7, no CB.

I called customer service and they confirmed system issue which they 'just noticed' (meaning customers call/email in to complain). Lady said they have raised the issue and will inform us when rectified.
