Anyone applied for a RHB CC via 3rd party website recently? I successfully applied for RHB Shell Visa via RinggitPlus for the guaranteed RM500 reward. When I get the card, there's a brochure inside the envelope advertising RM25 cashback upon activation & RM200 cashback upon RM500 spending.

Checked the T&C for this acquisition campaign but didn't see any clause that exempted 3rd party application either so not sure if I'm eligible:

Just got my RHB Shell Visa not too long ago but when I checked the app, it didn't tell me my statement date; just shows the due date on 12-JUL.

IIRC, the due date is 21 days before due date right? So does that mean my statement date is on the 22nd?

Same, I just got mine too. I applied my card on 25-MAY.

Same issue with mine though I did receive my statement via email. My statement is on the 22nd, called CS on the 24th & was told that the cashback will be credited in the next statement.

Is this still the case? My statement date is on the 22nd. By 20-AUG, I only accumulated RM677.42 which I'm fully aware wasn't sufficient to get any cashback. I quickly top-up ShopeePay RM1822.57 on 21-AUG & they got posted on 22-AUG. After reading your posts, I thought the RM1822.57 will be used for next CB cycle but when I checked my statement, they're listed along.

Therefore, based on your experience, are the 2 transactions' cashback fall still valid for current CB cycle or they're indeed in next CB cycle?

Yea, I suspected the same. RHB CS isn't as trustable as other bank's, such as PBB. I explained my scenario more in the post you quoted.

Oh, it's my practice to pay for my transactions in 15 days to ensure that I don't accidentally incur late penalty.

Do you still remember when your application got approved? I also applied in June but I only got the RM25 acquisition reward.

I don't exactly understand your question but those 2 transactions are counted in my August (22-AUG - 21-SEP) cashback cycle.

We need to hit accumulated spend of RM800 in order to be eligible for the lowest cashback tier. Since the 2 ShopeePay transactions were posted in 22-AUG, I only hit RM677.42 spend for 22-JUL - 21-AUG cycle. Therefore, I didn't receive any cashback on 22-AUG.

Therefore, for the 22-AUG - 21-SEP cycle, I only have to spend RM677.43 to be eligible for the highest tier cashback.

Hope the explanation makes sense.

If you read through the last page or so, you'll come to realise that everyone is in the same boat as you do.

Seems like the cashback delay issue is fixed? My statement is on the 22nd & logged in today to see that cashback is already registered in my account.

Never heard of such thing but you can always check your CCRIS record to confirm if there's RHB CC registered to your name.
