How long does it takes for RHB to give a callback? I declared my interest in signing up last Saturday but no news from them until now (Thursday).

My RHB has just been approved. To open online banking account, can I do it online like most bank or I have to fill up a separate form at the branch like Affin Bank?
Would like to know in advance so that i can do it when i collect the card

Since you are going to collect the card, just get it done in the branch lor

Because i might not have the time to spend so much time at bank during working hours especially as RHB is located quite far away.

I prefer to collect and do the rest at home unless it is complusory.

RHB statement date follow credit card approval date or card activation date?
Will delay my activation if the card follow the card activation date.

____________________________________________________________

To answer my question based on answer that I got from RHB.

1/ Online Banking can be created online after obtaining the credit card
2/ Statement cycle date is determined during registration. Be sure to inform the telemarketer of your preferred date as it cannot be changed afterwards.
3/ The statement cycle date doesn't depend on the card approval and activation date.

Is buying TnG E-wallet from RHB website considered as "online purchase" on RHB shell card?

If recalled correctly, bill payment on PBB website is considered online by PBB. Just want to verify if it could be the same case for RHB.

Nope. You fill up the form online and submit. It will be approved instantly. Money will be transferred either on T or T+1 depending on the time of application.

Morning RHB Card Holders,

I receive call this morning for card excess benefit.
I able to get cash from my card without any fee.
No interest rate charges, no penalty upon early settlement or no processing fees as well.
It sound like too good to be trust.
So I end up asking RM24k transfer to my saving account and I plan to move the cash to curreny account which running around 4.5% ~ 5% per annum and setting auto transfer every month to my CC to pay the RM24K.

Anyone get this offer before? It is real where no charges at all?
If i can, why not asking hundreds K and keep in my current account right?
*
are you a new cardholder with RHB?

Attached Image

when I first signed up with RHB, they gave me 0% cashexcess for 12 month.

After that, it's usually only 0% BT

yeah correct as it base on my current salary.
yet i did not know got such offer, else i will just swap to premium account and unlock more credit limits since i hv huge money in FD saving.
My personal banker ask me to switch the FD name so i can unlock more reward.. now feel like wasted... biggrin.gif
ya, new card holder as i found out their card dont hv annual fee while other bank do hv for high tier card.
i know we can call in to waive it, but why we need to do the call in when other bank can just waive it.
back to the cash excess, so no hidden charges right? i just want to be sure on it
*
should be no hidden charges.

No additional charges from RHB side for using this. The pin will arrive in your SMS. When reloading the pin to TNG TNG will ask whether you want to pay 1% to them or not.

But beware, I've been doing this regularly, every once in a while the pin won't show up. Then you have to report to them, they will send you back and forth to show proof until you get back your pin.

You can decide if that's worth it, or better to just pay the 1% charge.

does reloading TnG via RHB Shell cc, give cashback under online category?

Anyone managed to successfully get an approval for credit limit increase without applying for a higher tier card?

I have tried going to the bank on 2 separate occassions to increase my credit limit but it was unsuccessful. This is despite the fact that my salary has increased significantly and all other banks that I hold credit card including MBB has approved an increase in credit limit.

Can anyone share a contact in RHB who can help to handle the credit limit increment request without the need of going to the bank?

Game over!
Save me time to get another RHB Shell Visa-i
Before the revision, this card ranked 2nd among my cards; after this, it will drop to the last. Sigh.

By the way, if I make a balance transfer with this card, will the monthly instalment be counted as others? Which is included in the cashback spending pool?
*
yes, balance transfer installement has been considered as a filler for now. Not sure what happens after the revision

there's revision to the eligible spend now, BT is not considered as filler anymore.
*
if follow the old revision, BT installment should not have been considered as a filler, as it is not a retail spend. but somehow, I have been able to maximise my cashback for past 3 years even though i spend less 1.5k monthly on this card. BT helped to meet the 2.5k expenses.

But yeah, now it is stated explicitly that BT and CX are not considered as retail spend

For rhb shell visa, if i topup 2.5k in ewallet before 28 i would still be getting the full rm50 cb for the next statement right?
*
yes , provided your total retail spend is 3k, cause the spending amount will follow the new limit.
