1/11/2023: Apply through RP
9/11/2023: Receive email from the bank, submit form + all documents on the same day.
17/11/2023: Send follow up email to the bank
21/11/2023: Send another follow up email to the bank
21/11/2023: Receive call from RHB, the staff claims that she has call me several times but I didn't pick up the phone?? Proceed to verify documents.
22/11/2023: Appear in eccris under "pending"
23/11/2023: the entry in eccris gone missing, call to 0392068118 and it says my application on 21/11/2023 has been cancelled.

I guess I have to re-apply again since it is not "rejected" but "cancelled"?

eventually got the card approved or not?

Has anyone ever applied for a credit limit increase for RHB credit card?

I called and they asked to go to the branch. Is that really the only way?

So frustrating that other banks are making it easy to increase credit limit (e.g. HLB) but RHB makes life so difficult.
*
Yes need to go branch.

Worst part is when I went to the branch the officer asked me to call CS. After I said CS was the one who asked me to come to the branch, then only she when in and clarified with another officer and took out the form for me.

Why did you accept it in the first place? You like paying extra?

for the time being just pay full or overpay to ensure RM0 or negative statement balance to avoid extra charges

You do realise outstanding and statement balance are different? Obviously cashxcess and similar are outstanding (amount which you owe to the bank in total) even if they take a while to show up on your statement (amount which you must pay by a specified due date).

Cannot brain to 'just accept' something which gives minimal benefit but costs you real money. Cancel it quickly.

I just used Shell Visa to pay Jompay >RM 2.5k, can I now reload RM 1000 to eWallet to get RM 50 cash back? Sorry, I'm confused as I hardly use RHB cards or any cash back cards these days. laugh.gif

RM 1000 eWallet top up + further RM 1500 spend. (To earn cash back of RM 50 from your eWallet top up.)

Yupe. Can.

If you using Jompay to pay utilities bills, then you're sharing the cashback quota of RM 50.

I stand to be corrected but as stated, Jompay for retail purchases is not the same as Jompay for Utility bills (TNB, AirSelangor, unifi etc)

I have been getting cashback from my utilities bill payments via Jompay.

You Jompay as filler spend or as the $1000 which give cashback for utils? How much is your Jompay?

After being pointed out, I have gone through my past statements and realized one particular month I didn't earn max RM 50 cashback of which I didn't top up my eWallet eventhough I have jompay bill payments.

I was wrong and am sorry for giving inaccurate info. sweat.gif

Thanks cybpsych for pointed this out. blush.gif
