RHB salesperson said supplementary card wont charged rm25 SST. Is it true?

He mistaken it. I googled too and found Customs document of it.

just received SMS for Week 12 few mins ago.

Me too got 2 sms, one rm15 n one rm100. I got a feeling i am going to get 3x rm100 n 10x rm15.

Week12 started from 1July to 7July. I got the cb on 19July.

Guys, RHB is denying me my RM25 signup cash back, RM100 additional signup cash back, and Shell 12% bonus cash back on the basis that I had cancelled RHB credit card in the prior 6 months.

Yes true, it happened, but those were credit card auto applied by the banker handling my housing loan. I didn’t want it and cancelled them as soon as I could. Never activated the cards.

I feel it is unfair I am being denied promotional cash back that I should deserve. The credit cards applied with my housing loan weren’t even signed off by me!

I complained and explained to RHB but they still said I will not be given the cash backs. Should I forward this matter to Bank Negara, or should I just accept the situation?

Terminate the card. Don't waste time with RHB Card Centre.
RHB loan still good and flexible in long term, compare to other banks.

Oh I actually like the card benefits. This is so much better than my previous HSBC card. I’m not aware of any other cards that can consistently give me RM60+ cash back a month.

RHB Card Centres already upset me many many times in the past 7 years, especially I didn't win some prizes in past campaigns, for unknown reasons. Now I don't call RHB Card Centre again. The prizes are bonuses, not income or savings. I feel happier now using the RHB cards.
