hey guys, ask some questions here about maybank2card... Any of you face this?
outstanding balance in mastercard, pay minimum but no interest charge for months.
So they charge per annum instead of per month?

So they charge per annum instead of per month? check you paper or e-statement, they should break it down nicely with all the interest compounded. don't think is view-able through M2U only. anyway paying min amount is not the way to go, hope you can settle it ASAP.

QUOTE(donpapachino @ Aug 30 2013, 06:46 AM) did u have promotion or significant pay rise recently? dont be too tempted to spend so much bro. There were thoughts about increasing the limit because I always hit limit due to some EPP. I only spend it on fuel only and some EPP stuff. So now, no need to worry anymore.

QUOTE(one punch man @ Aug 30 2013, 03:33 PM) just called the CS and asked them to set rm1 threshold sms statement date changed to 31st actually just some thoughts... if your statement date is 31st (or 30th) then your payment due date is 20th. This means the RM50 cashback will not be in the statement. It will then not be factored in the statement balance which you must pay, till the month after. Secondly, you will only known the amount owed some days later (except if you track via M2U) and for some, they may not have budgeted for it from the previous months salary, and the current month's salary has not been paid as of the 20th.

My statement date is 24th and my salary is out between 18th-20th (most of the time 20th but if 20th falls on weekends will be earlier). Is the statement date OK? I mean in term of all those rebate crediting? Payment wise, I'm OK anytime. My OCBC's statement date is 12th by the way. This post has been edited by fruitie: Aug 30 2013, 05:02 PM

Actually the cash rebate that obtain on the 1st (normally shown on the 2nd) can be used to offset the payment already even if it's not in the statement. eg. Statement amount : RM1000 Cash rebate : RM50 Amount to be pay : RM950

My thoughts are on those who have no M2U.

QUOTE(one punch man @ Aug 30 2013, 03:33 PM) just called the CS and asked them to set rm1 threshold sms statement date changed to 31st Just curious what will the statement date be on months without 31th... Thought banks won't allow this change request. I guess, in this case, it is moving statement date and fixed due date (20th) as oppose to the more common one of fixed statement date and moving due date.
