More benefits per Post 1, since annual fee is waived basically no harm getting platinum if you are qualified to.

Good sharing sir!!

i've just found out that the TP conversion to Enrich miles is very rewarding

Example MAS return flight to maldive is RM1800+, For returned trip the Miles required is 25,500

7000TP = 1000 Miles

For 25,500 Miles = 178,500 TP required

Based on general conversion to voucher and on the spot redemption, 200TP = RM1

178,500 TP = RM 892.50 only

My statement refresh on every 8th of the month.

I should have done my shopping after 8th, so that I get to pay only by next month, aiyak.

Greeting fella MBB credit card user here. I'm new to this CC thing and I hope I ask my question at the right section.

Anyways, long story short I gotten my Petronas Gold via the FD I made not long ago. And I puzzled with this minimum payment, finance fees, and interest rates.

1. Let say, I sweep 3k with my card on June, and I only can pay 1.5k on June. Will I got any penalty / interest topped into my debt on the next following month payment?

2. The minimum 13.5% - maximum 17.5% per annul interest rate are meant for those that unable to clear they debt within that 12 months?

3. Minimum payment means one pay the minimum required figure to avoid the monthly interest?

Hopefully can get some head out form this thread. Many thanks in advance 1st. icon_rolleyes.gif

1. Yes there is still interest charge for the 1.5k which you have not clear

2. Anyone?Never bother to check out cos they are all licensed loan shark.

3. Minimum payment to 'qualify' for lower interest rate, as long as you have outstanding balance not cleared you will always be charged a % for 'loaning' the money.

im in malaysia, going to make the hotel payment in thailand.
im concern about my card being misused, is it safe to give them my card number, exp date, and CCV number?
this is my first time.

if i pay 1000 baht, if there any extra charge? how about the currency rate?
*
use master/visa for lower exchange rate, you can check the rate at respective websites.

if you are so concern on misuse - use cash

i did called them as well on upgrade.

Basically when you apply for platinum make sure they record it is as upgrade rather than new application. By then when you have your platinum

1. No GST charged - anniversary of GST follow old card anniversary (Note your platinum expiry shall be same as your gold)
2. TP automatically transfer to new card

Sorry guys, a noobie here.. since we are on the topic of treat points..

I have over 100k tp at the moment that i do not know how to fully utilize it...

How do enrich miles works? and if im looking to get myself a ipad mini, what voucher/coupon should i change?

Thanks in advance..
*
Before the 'inflation', On the spot redemption 200TP = RM1 so you have Rm500 rebate there at Sony outlet / Harvey Norman / etc.

You have to compare the new conversion rate now, you should be getting about RM400 only now.

Enrich before 'inflation' 7000TP = 1000 Enrich Miles.

Despite the inflation AMEX is still one of the best card to use on weekend.

You can choose to walk away but business is business...nobody want to make a loss. wink.gif
