MYR for sure. It will be under Agoda Hotel Reservation London GB.
*
I've chosen pay later on date 2-Sept, charging will be on the same date, Maybank CS only can see 1 USD charging right now.

QUOTE(zenquix @ Aug 31 2013, 01:36 AM)
my last few booking on agoda, a screen will pop up asking you which currency u want.

But if your screen show MYR, it should be MYR
*
Weird, my booking doesn't ask for which currency, shown MYR right away, but official booking confirmation email from Agoda stated currency in USD.

QUOTE(bearbear @ Aug 31 2013, 01:56 AM)
yes you can choose

1. Agoda direct charging RM
2. Agoda charge USD and bank convert to RM
*
Apparently the situation has changed, it doesn't provide option to choose which currency...

You mean you cannot choose currency when you were checking hotel rates or when you were about to make payment?

Normal Agoda website
Checking hotel rates, can change to MYR.
user posted image

Payment page still shows MYR.

I didn't proceed because have no intention to book. laugh.gif

Maybank Agoda website
Change the currency in its main page.
user posted image

After that, it shows the same as normal Agoda page. Quoted in MYR as well.

Edit: I re-read your post again, it seems you have chosen MYR but was charged in USD. So, you can ignore my post. laugh.gif

Talking about agoda, the last two hotel bookings I made online was directly with the hotel website because their rate was cheaper than agoda's rate even after taking into consideration of the discount offered with my MBB cards.

So before you book with agoda, you guys should check out the hotel website for comparison.

Yeah, Agoda is not really that cheap these days. There are other booking sites which offer cheaper rate and can use PayPal during weekends. smile.gif

Recently only my sister booked our hotel directly from the hotel, somehow is cheaper than Agoda.

Yeah all this is visible if they have M2U, which then makes the statement a not really important. My thoughts are on those who have no M2U.
*
In this case, if I want my rebate to appear & offset that particular month's spending,
I should ask for my statement date to be when?
I have just gotten my MBB 2 card last week. So now planning to call CS to enquire my bill cycle & change the date.

Yesterday a zenquix reported here, that we can get extra 10% Enrich Miles when converting our Maybankard Treats Points this weekend. Woke up late today and did not go to 1U. I hate going to 1U after 12pm as it kind of difficult to find a parking space and that irritates me big time. Hopefully I can wake up early tomorrow.

Initially I thought it was a Maybank promotion. I just logged into my email and noted that it is an Enrich Promotion. For those of you who have yet to sign up for an Enrich Miles account, do it tomorrow (Sunday) at 1U and get yourself 2000 Enrich Miles for FREE.

To learn more about the benefit of converting our credit card reward points to Enrich Miles, click here to my article where I will show you how we can get up to xx% equivalent cash back by using the right credit card and this includes the Maybankard 2 Cards AMEX.

I would like to support Gen-X comment.
Just booking a hotel direct from the hotel website, which is cheaper than agoda maybank (including minus 7%) by RM12 different per day.

Maybe should calculate what is money worth of agoda point!
