The evergreen TP is what sets Maybank apart from other banks. Now no more. sad.gif If they take away the 5x TP or the 5% weekend rebate I will ditch Amex for good

I've booked a room at agoda.com/maybank, the final bill showing MYR, but when I receive bill via email it is charged as USD, so the final charging will be MYR or USD?  rclxub.gif

MYR for sure. It will be under Agoda Hotel Reservation London GB.

I called the call centre already in line with my GST offset.

Bring up the procedure to upgrade from gold to plat.

It's a bit hassle to upgrade. I need to enclose a lot of documents.

It's better to stick to gold, lazy to do so much.

My salary is remitted to Maybank, FDs put in Maybank. Having their personal current account as well.

They still need two months pay slip. Why BE slip cannot? EPF statement cannot? That one I have ready soft copy. No need to scan.

They always say its Bank Negara requirement.

Same here. Eligible for Plat but lazy to upgrade due to the hassles. Not that much difference between Plat and Gold too. If they really want to promote the Plat card among air travellers, they should include free lounge access.

AmEx exchange rate is always worse to be compared with VISA or MasterCard.

How much for AmEx actually? Coz MBB has raised their fee for foreign transactions to 2.25% for Visa and MC
