I noticed my line hasn't been good for the pass few nights. Only happens about after 8pm. Youtube doesn't stream properly not even at 480p. And higher latency on games.

EDIT: And of course when I ping to local servers I get 10ms and max down/up rate speed.

Kena throttle la tu.. 8pm-2am

QUOTE(maru @ May 29 2013, 05:05 PM)

*

QUOTE(syzwn @ May 29 2013, 10:23 PM)

1. Logon into router
2. Go to path => Home Network -> Interfaces
3. Click on LocalNetwork and click on Configure
4. Under DHCP Pools, click Edit button on LAN_private
5. Edit the Primary/Secondary DNS fields
6. Click on Apply

Note: I reset my router yesterday and start a new, didn't need to use Administrator to do all the setup.

yes it uses the same unifi infrastructure. however as default, maxis uses private ip and therefore you cannot connect with your cctv unless you request for a public ip. I did that but had to call the centre several times before they fiannly did it. after they activate your public ip, you have to change your username from xxxx@home.maxis, etc to xxxx@public.maxis,etc....

Well, if the original owner decide to pursue using the law... You should be worried since Malaysia have anti-piracy law...

10mbps? That's considered low. You should be getting at least 1mbps/dl

My unifi 5mbps im getting around 500~600kbps/dl

Maxis has been calling me to take the 10mbps package for rm148. The thing I'm scared of is when the service is bad and I don't want it anymore, I have to pay rm500 to let them let me go, like ah long.

Then I ask the maxis person about this, she said that they will waive the fee if really got a lot of problem.

Should I change to maxis? I feel like even if I report problem they'll ignore me and still ask me to pay...

they will honor their word of RM500 waiver if you can "proof" that got problem
if as per design like torrenting capped at 50kbps from 8PM to 2AM this is not a valid reason
so think twice before sign up
