i tried wifi extended (repeater) and it dont really work... the only solution is to use homeplug by tplink or any other brand.

How much does wall plug cost ?
my original idea was to get Access Point and cable it to the router, turn off the router wifi and use only the AP wifi unsure.gif

1st February, New month
DL running normal again at 100+kb/s, suspect DL will be secretly throttle after 100GB of usage, this is a really bad news to discover unsure.gif

wow, seriously?  sweat.gif

currently using unifi 5.. contract ends this march.. thinking of subscribing to astro byond iptv..

i do know i'll get 10mbps for 148.. n rm 108 for superpack 1. total RM256.
currently unifi 5 (149) n superpack 1 RM141 total RM290.

i'll get to save rm34 n get twice the speed n get unaffected astro by weather.

Question is, how about the reliability of both services (astro n internet)?

have you guys ever experienced a downtime? is it frequent?

currently with unifi, got problems too but very rare so i'll say it's pretty reliable n consistent.

but what is your say for byond iptv?

coz my sis will need a stable connection coz she'll work from home for Shell cyberjaya from time to time. she couldnt afford to have an erratic connection.

thanks guys.  notworthy.gif

oh btw, i live in bandar tun hussein onn.
UPDATE: oh crap.. i just read 2 pages back n got scared already..  shocking.gif

it cant be all that bad right? but, i dont want to keep on discovering the things that i can n cant do when im already tied up to the contract for a freaking 2 years!!

maxis die hard fan, say something!

My router model was Thomson TG784n , the wifi coverage for this router can't even reach 2nd floor properly.

Can anyone recommend any good router with bandwidth control ?
