Kepong wise, FTTH considered not bad what...

My neighbours all using Unifi and starting to complain slow speed. Maybe 5Mbps feel slow kot. Maxis at least 10Mbps.

As for torrent, I didnt feel any slowdown at all despite the hours. It may be slower to reach full speed during peak hours (6pm-12am) but I did not experience any slowdown.

The only problem for FTTH is the slowness when downloading from those sharing sites... really much slower than Unifi. I can get better speed from my 3G data than FTTH.

Yup, Maxis FTTH serve me well all the while, but I do experience extremely slow speed or no connection few times from last year until now.
torrent usually can get full speed also...but same as u during reak hour it's slower to reach full speed.
file sharing site download, I can reach full speed because I use rapid premium, and ryushare premium. icon_rolleyes.gif

Do not use the default DNS setting. Use a open dns for better speeds and connectivity

I suspect the issue lies with Maxis's throttling hardware/software as opposed to it being a DNS issue as there is no problem streaming Youtube during non-peak hours.
Does your issue occur during peak hours (8 pm - 12 am) or the whole day?

It happen all day long.
