add me in >> silver standard CFE.
rm69k is worth the value. great power, spacious. although the rubbery material is of bad workmanship - the rough edge on my sterling wheel, and certain areas in the car. great air cond. dark window and screen (non tinted) but it is in dark color, so u feel a bit "cooler". hey, it comes with 4 disc brake...same as the 80k cfe.
oh the rim, is not sporty at all, it's just a cover. maybe trade in for a better one in future.
now i need to get some modding done...
who can recommend me place to:
1. install spoiler n rear mirror.
2. body lining and design body sticker.
3. install dvd ...what u call that, mini tv in the car?
4. tint window.
preferably with quote pricing.
stay in kl, so moving in kl or selangor will be fine with me. i want good quality. since it a new car.
i think i will skip the fog lamp, since i wont be using it frequently...
but erm, i still curious on the pricing. hehe if still within budget, and worth it...can la.
now already running 200+km...so far no biggie problem, just noise of wind on driver side when cruising above 90kmph.
Just a sharing if you are upgrading the HU to a DVD unit.
The Orginal roof DVD player is a stand alone player and it is just using the FM receiver for the audio.
So playing the same video in both the Monitors, is not possible when you install a new HU together with the Orginal roof DVD player.
So ask the Workshop to run an additional cable from the HU (RCA Audio/Video out) to the Roof DVD player which you can connect to the Aux in the Roof DVD player (using a Stereo pin type connector).
By doing this, you will have the choice to watch the same video in both players or different if you choose to be(by using headphones to the roof unit).
If you are having problems in loosing the audio while connecting the Roof player via the FM, you can try out the below method (since I'm using a power amp for the Music ystem, the FM signal disturbances is a nuisence

).
There are 2 Head/ear phone sockets in the Roof DVD player, you can also make use of one to connect to the front DVD player (AV) so that you can hear the sound via the Car Audio Speakers directly. (I'm also exploring to see whether we can also include the video. Will share if I'm successful).
