Nothing except when you want to sell after 3-5 years this year difference will kick more than 2K of the price. Since they are giving RM988 now for 2013 model better go with 2013. Only RM1K you are getting more from 2012 which will not make it up for you in the future. (personal Opinion only) 

mine from 1st to third service go to sc, because of free labour. using shell helix 10w40. 5K service interval. not much problem encountered using this oil, just when the interval reach 5k, car feels heavy.cold start also no problem.

after this i plan to service at normal workshop because of cheaper labour charge.when i ask proton sc their labour charge is RM65 
and want to try other brand engine oil.

My 215/50/17 rim offset 35 not touching fender at rear & planning upgrade to 225/50/17 for new tyre.

17inch with 8.5jj 25 offset may be can fit with 245/ 45 /17 at rear ot at least 235/45/17

if change sports rim, make sure do onwheel balacing.. if not will gegar during high speed.. the best place i found until now is at shah alam, sec.15.. goodyear.. my alignmt still straight after 3 times servis.. huahua..but abit pricy

First post here ...

Count me in as an Exora owner too. Cocoa Grey EB. Today is the 9th day of ownership. Yesterday did the 1k service.

I have, however, voided the warranty now, I think ... 

Because the head unit now looks like this:



And the roof monitor received a little mod to now have this little extrusion:



But, for what it's worth, am enjoying the ridiculousness of having an Android head unit in the car.

Haven't fully played around with it yet. Was planning to try and run Torque on it, but I dropped my mini BT OBDII device into a hole at the centre console of my other car (long story) and haven't fished it out yet.

Otherwise, general observations:

1. The centre console/dashboard rattles like a mother. Annoying as hell. Will have to fix.
2. Power delivery is not bad. The lack of gear change still feels counter-intuitive at the moment.
3. Spacious. Kids are well satisfied.

Can someone recommend a good SC to solve the problem of jerking..also sometimes my engine died when change from N to D...

Once you change the tyre, you void the warranty. but think smart, change to original tire when you got problem.   

my car reach 5990 ODO today, since last two days, it lacks power. maybe the engine oil starts to get glooey...

well will get a new service in two days.

so far...the engine died once when i in hurry to reverse the car.

oh yeah, the air cond vent at 2nd n 3rd row, does it have fan? or it just a open close valve?

can i tint black 3rd row window and rear window like most of the estima car? seriously dark and black. some said can coz it's a MPV, not sedan car. MPV 3rd row is for luggage so can tint pitch black. is it true?

1.) How is the window tinting on the Premium version, is it good enough to withstand the heat these past weeks or we're better getting our tinting done outside?
2.) Is there a difference between getting the car from Proton Edar directly or Proton's dealer?
