Not all Forte have the issue you referring to....possibility noise that you mentioned either from bearing or valve tappet.
Current Forte going to be phase out soon after in the market for more than 3 years (Let's face the fact)...thats why they are replacing it with K3.

Korean mindset is like that...same work for Samsung...else u won't see tonnes of TV and phone model.....

All fortes facing road nose issues. If the Korea midsets is like what you said, the this is part of the reason the RV of Kia cars. We cannot compare samsung products with Kia Forte . We can change samsung products every year but we cannot affort to change our Forte to new K3, K5 etcs

if we accept the Forte is like that (like Malaysia said proton car is like that ) ,then we better don't buy Korean car .
After reading your sentenace, I am start to worry  my 3 months old forte , the road noise is terrible .....so noisy ......

We need to bring out our right .

test drive liao luuu.. steering feedback precise and road grip is excellent for "cheap" B segment.. only negative is engine is slow to respond when pick-up after corner turning at traffic light junctions.. something like current new Swift punya power except Rio's 1.4 unit is refined and pleasantly quiet at low revs driving..

overall it's a very comfortable car ride for passengers also for driver.. rear seats has proper whole body support unlike shorter and undersized seats found in City, Vios, Mazda2, Fiesta etc.. the only B segment which I never encountered any claustrophobic for 1 hour journey drive to Genting on Chor 9 CNY..

I drove the Kia Rio and that one bought by my ex-gf.. yea we went up Genting for CNY gamble

she bought the red SX and she got the car 1st week of the brand new model delivery from Naza Kia..

bro.. i agree with you as we as the consumer has the right to express our needs and expectations.. perhaps we could sign a petition on the common problems and send to NAZA Kia, or even to KMC Korea... i believe their HQ is really concern on the customers' feedback and they are driving very crazy to all the suppliers quality, i've been to Kia and Hyundai facilities experiencing the bombardment.. perhaps our CKD models material selection has been downgraded and Naza would know well... how about with CBU owners, are you facing the same road noise problem?

My first gripe would be the attitude of the Service Centre staffs (i.e. - lack of interest and care for our beloved vehicles)

they all just "ta kung" ppl.. as expected..

I second the motion to write/petition Hyundai-KIA Motor Corp.
But before we do so, we'll need to compile a listing of:

1) Common problems affecting our vehicle (hopefully about 1000 vehicle-owners)
2) List of Petitioners (which will require the inclusion of VINs)

Please feel free to add anything else to the list.

so bros... should we start this petition, which I think we could make use of "www.petitiononline.com"..?
common problems:
1. car pull left
2. dashboard rattling noise
3. headlight water condensation
4.Air Cond Hot air when using outside air
4.Annoying road noise into the cabin.

i once lodge a complain to the SC in sg. petani on rattling noise and they verified, and its deteriorating... so the person in charge said they will revert this complaint to Naza Kia and after awaiting for so long without any respond from them, i followed up with them again and now they replied the technical people from Naza (Kia) need to accumulate all the problematic vehicles before coming for resolution... what a lame excuse!! i was in rush that time and did not want to argue with them.. furthermore i'm working abroad now and wait until i get back in the coming months, i will taruh them kao kao..

Hi, i just get my Forte 1.6SX tinted few days ago. Today just try to wind down my back seat windows, I noticed both back windows only can wind down 2/3. Kind of weird. Before that i never try to wind down before. Is it normal?? Or something when wrong when i go tinted? Please help.  I'm a worry owner...LOL...

btw, overall quite satisfy with the car. FC is good on highway, but bit pain when jam n lots of traffic light. Stil can get an average of 8-10 L/100km
